Nvidia/Apple are both the OGs and paved the way for their respective markets. But now they are delivering insanely overpriced products with less powerful hardware than their cheaper competitors. With the justification always being something along the lines of "user experience" and proprietary software that they over hype which convinces those who have no clue about hardware to go with them. Whereas AMD/Android use open source software for a lot of their features and it continues to get better and better. They ship their products with longevity in mind. A la pumping cards with "too much VRAM". Remember 6 years ago... no one would have told you to get a rx 580 over a gtx 1060. Yet the 580 is still on shelves being bought and sold to this day. There's absolutely no one on the market for a 1060.
