Most shows only focus on the build-up to a marriage. The romance and drama precedes a marriage. This show however, goes past all that and focuses more on the marriage itself and how the couple live together and deal with all the challenges that comes with being a married couple. That's quite rare.
@@iykeharrison9161yes, and sometimes when characters get together, the chemistry changes and it’s not as entertaining. With This show, each one is a gem. It just gets better and better. The development of all the characters endeared them to us, and their love for each other is apparent.
Not really, Doug was petty and did some dumb shit for sure but he never in a million years would have walked away from Carrie over some stupid materialistic "manhattan apt" like she did. That was really gross.
the pee portion hit home lol. ive dated traumatized women who legit will think you are trying to abandon them but meanwhile I just have some shit to do at that moment that...well...you saw the episode
Ngl they both were terrible but that’s what made them perfect for each other and no matter what bad shit either of them did they always knew the love they had for each other
This guy was so perfect for this type of toxic and still found a way to have him give up on her. He did so much and just still found way to ruin everything. Man, the ego!!!!!!!!!!!! She’s a control freak!!!!! It’s the reason why she freaked out after asking for this. After wanting Doug back and wanting a family, God bless this woman with more than she asked but I’m glad she figure out what actually takes to be in faith and just staying consistent with each other. It’s everything….YOU CAN SEEK FOR WISDOM!!!!!!!!!!! There’s no need of all of this but whatever, still a beautiful story
Doug and Carrie always criticize and judge each other when really they both done something and everytime they don't want to do anything that person want they mentioned back to each of their faces like I did that for you always find away to have things bite them in butt
Her mother died when she was a kid, but Arthur remarried, his 2nd wife died at the start of the show. It's all explained within the first episode or two
Carrie uses people to get what she wants the neighbors they don't like it was their beach house, holly got van she was using her for the van to get more stuff Doug ex it because she can help her get deal at Zac 5th Ave
This couple should’ve developed so much and they didn’t so they should’ve been stayed broken up learning so much of what not to have from both parties lol why they stayed together made me cringe everytime
I think it's more metaphorical. Like in the theme song. Sure their life may not be perfect but as long as he has her in it, it somehow is all worthwhile. He may not be the richest man in Queens but as long as he has Carrie, he's still the King.
Yeah but in a real world a lot of men would have left carrie for being too much too handle. And carrie at the beginning wasn't having it that much better as an assistant
