The number one "Target" for the best QB of all time was a Tight End. (Brady with Gronk) The current best QB in the NFL also has a number one "Target" that's a Tight End. (Mahomes and Kelce) Why are we talking about number one Receivers? The last time I checked the Bills had TWO pretty good Tight Ends. #bygones
Elam has a lot of ball in front of him and has shown flashes. Hoping change of scenery in the defensive coach room will help him. All is not lost on Elam. Coleman hasn’t played a snap yet, and is a type of WR the bills haven’t had since I’ve been alive. Relax.
Jeez. Bills PR really trying to push the “who needs good WRs?” Narrative…. Their ridiculous approach to the position is a shame with Josh Allen as QB. If it blows up in their face I hope they get railed for it by the fans and media alike and Pegula takes notice.
it's not "who needs good WRs" it's who needs an alfa 1WR. there's only one JJ, one Jamar Chase, those types of WRs that eat up and will command a 30+ mil a year contract. what teams have one of those? Dolphins, Vikings, Bengals, Cowboys, how many other teams are there with a type of WR like a Megatron in his prime? the Ravens, Bills, Chiefs, Packers, and so many others don't have that, but they still have "good WRs". what are you talking about? of course teams need good WRs, what are you on about?
@@trazz407 and the Bills have neither… they have all slots WRs. Pretty obvious what the plan is. Short passing game, more balance, spread the ball around and control the clock for McDs “complimentary football” to give his defense a break. I suspect closer games and less room for error because of this strategy…..Just a really puzzling offensive philosophy for an offense with Josh Allen as QB…..but not surprising with a defensive head coach at the helm.
The Bills don't have good receivers? I didn't know that. Beasley and Brown were considered mid before they got to Buffalo and 2nd yr Josh worked with them. 3rd yr Josh had a career year throwing to them and Diggs in 2020 before ppl realized Diggs was a top 5 guy
@@trazz407 pff and ESPNs Bills Barnwel rank Bills pass catching group 27th and 24th respectively… most Bills fans disagree(besides being homers)because they don’t watch the rest of the league. Their top 3 WRs are a good 3rd option in Samuel, an unproven Shakir who will have a lot more responsibility/bigger role which will most translate to better players covering him, and a raw rookie in Keon Coleman. It’s a bottom of the barrel group and I anticipate Josh to have to improvise/put more mileage and wear and tear on his body because of it. Bummer.
