Got this one in four. After STARE and DOILY, I tried BLOOD with the hope it would be the answer. That left me with xLOxD. The word CLOUD was the only word that made sense. I finished the month of September with an average of 3.50, my best month ever. My "lifetime" average is 3.93. My year-to-date average is 3.84. My current streak is 378.

It would help Doug a lot if he would remember that the most common letters in the fifth position are E. STD and N.

⬛⬛🟨⬛⬛SEDAN 🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛DIGHT ⬛🟨🟨🟨⬛MOLDY ⬛🟩🟩⬛🟩BLOOD 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩CLOUD -"DIGHT" was just me messing around , experimenting with letter placement, and at some point I sorta hit "Enter" by accident, and was shocked that it accepted it as a word. It shouldn't have, no one has used it in probably 500 years, but apparently it's still good as a Wordle guess.
