sinpetit yes mate. First proper hardcore set I listened to. My sisters were into chart rubbished. I thought I didn’t liked music and then a trip to unity records where my friend bought this tape pack changed my life!

That's a familiar tale for many a clubber in the 90's. We took 2 car loads to an event but one car got stolen so all 8 of us got in a Fiesta for the drive back!
I was there, had a smoke with Majika outside, awesome night, the good times. By the way, Adrian had forgotten his pack up, his mum was in the reception all disgruntled n stuff...
I was there too near got kicked out cause a security caught me in a ahem state of congress with some bird during the Dougal set ....great memories of a bunch of dreamscapes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,12,17 and the best outdoor 20 on my 20th birthday weekend
Time to come alive to the happy vibe miss V7 saxon Street will forever live in my memories n also the dark mental vibes on EEEEESSSSS also RIP MILLWALKIES crew small club but MASSIVE VIBE
My mate Laura would blah blah blag her way onto the stage everytime and try pull me up too me no way🤣 ... then she became a regular dancer 😀(after getting in crap 1st few times )🤣.Was great being her bezzie met loads extra Djs up on stage cozza that and then still DJing now til COVID anyway !🤣🎧🤣🎧👍🏽👍🎄🎄
Yes, there are at least 5 MCs on this set - Magika, Ribbs, EasyVibe, Techno and Chalky White. I guess they all wanted a go. I love Ribbs' understated style of MCing; not just chatting rubbish like some would, or making stupid noises with his mouth. He also had a laugh with it, like when he calls out "false alarm" when he expects the drop too early on Feel the Panic.
MAJIKA was annoying to cheesy for me. What happened to scratch master techno kid he was my favourite old skool mc. In 94 he vanished did he die r go prison? Because he just dissaperd always wounderd what happened to him. Conrad was good to hardcore and mc mc. Mc Marley and sharkey also mc knight were proper hardcore mc's. I miss those golden days was luckey 2 b young and part of it. 95 bouncy techno was taking over never liked it. I got into oasis 96 and changed. Now I play guitar and write songs instead of mcing. Mixed mcing with my song writing got my own style. Peace people love fuck this Corona virus we will beat it. 8000 people die from flu each year. We dont go nutts media scare mongering I say. Be safe love x
Dougal getting the piss taken because the needles are jumping 😂 Not his fault of course. I miss all the technical issues from the early 90's, it added charm.
37:22 MC Chalky White going off on one at Dougal for letting Edge 1 remix jump all over the place! "Didn't he do well!". I felt for Dougal a bit there - he was never the smoothest of mixers but a jumping record can happen to anyone! 24:00 Funny that Dougal mixes from Top Buzz - "Living in Darkness" into "Shining in the Darkness" from Nookie. Deliberate?
37:22 the mc with the attitude - I'm glad it happened as without that we wouldnt have "oi, start that one again, right" on Midsummer Mist a few months later ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ir-Uho70Iw8.html
Yeah I can’t really rate him for that, Dougal was a full 10 years younger than Chalky, either 17 or barely 18, bit cheeky of him when the DJ has a much harder job than the MC too. Ah well, over 30 years ago now, we all make mistakes. That said as well it could have been in jest, hard to tell when you’re not seeing it.
