"what makes it a Simpson's Doughnut" when you bite into it it yells " DOH!!" Stan kind of reminded me of Victor Borge in a way he seems a very happy, friendly laid-back fellow 😀
Wow 😲 thank you for this documentary, from Donuts 🍩 to Stan & Salvation Army’s lady volunteers & our veterans. The grand finale “The Huell’s” donut 🍩 wow 😮😃😋
Great Episode of California Gold, We also have a donut shop called Stan's Donuts in Santa Clara, California which opened in the 1950's, they have the best Bavarian Creme I have ever had with very reasonable prices, two donuts and you are full.
Kcet can you please put episodes of Californias gold on here please. You guys struck down a channel who had a lot of episodes available to watch on RU-vid. There are people who want to watch these and you guys aren't making it easy. Why strike down someone who is actually making an effort to keep Huels memory alive. Please I know you guys read these comments.
gtrent1 They do seem quite different than the donuts we are used to today. From humble beginnings, right? And I agree: It is wonderful that the Veterans Administrative Campus in West L.A. has a French chef! The French are renowned for their cuisine.
