I'm beginning to think that the Apple Juice vs. Orange Juice episode is simply a myth. A legend. You hear whispers of its existence but it never shows itself.
@@SinCityDarkKnight did I say butter itself was the enemy?? He's putting it on a muffin.. muffins are just as sweet as a donut .. that's the point .. so then you add butter on top of that.. thanks tho
Joe's arguments really make me hate being on his side. Joe, buddy, steam occurs when something with moisture is heated. Muffins definitely steam in the microwave.
That's what I'm saying, microwaves in particular cook food by vibrating the water molecules lol there would be steam almost instantly when heating a muffin.
and he was even arguing the time it would take, he said it would take a minute and would ruin the integrity of the muffin but anyone whose ever microwaved anything bread knows how fast that shit heats up. You put a muffin in for 30 seconds guaranteed steam from a Dunkin Donuts muffin man
@@davebcf1231 Finally someone that knows comedy. I hate how people get all emotional over anything they say, when Joe said the whole microwave steam thing, I found it funny. Idc what these two say, as long as I laugh!
@@mcmuffin7941 really curious how the vibe between sal and bobby would be on a cast together.... Methinks not so good tbh :( Sal seems so pure and Bobby is so... Bobby lol
It depends on the individual muffin or doughnut!! Boston cream is a loss IMO Who wants a mouthful of weird custard, disproportionate to the amount of the dough surrounding it? But a fresh, original glaze or an old fashioned doughnut definitely beats out a pecan muffin or a banana nut muffin.
This is so much fun and I'm super happy that Joe finally found something that sticks. He's been deserving for more exposure for a long time for his incredible comedic talent. Keep rocking!
One of the best eps ever! Still good 2 years later, it comes in hot and finishes strong. A full episode battle soo great! Sal fought hard for the muffin, and muffins should be proud to have such a strong competitor on their side.
I got the absolute worst news this morning and I am SO thankful this podcast came out to distract me, been watching old ones but so ready for this debate. Doughnuts all the way baby
I'm so glad I found this podcast, I'm laughing so hard I started crying and I'm not even 15 minutes in. Almost no other podcast makes me actively laugh out loud, but this one does. Great work.
I know it’s an old episode but I re watch them all the time or at least listen to them at work… I can’t under state how much these guys arguing calms me I will never understand it. But I will always love it!
I say it every week, I would NOT wilfully argue with Sal. His ability to annihilate weaknesses in his opponents is terrifying. I'd blink the wrong way and be done.
My nana used to make blueberry muffins. It was one of the best memories of my childhood. Let me tell you this Sal, no maniac cuts their muffins horizontally unless they are a serial killer.
I know I say this every week but this is the best podcast ever. I never miss an episode, I rewatch every single episode that's out while I wait for the new episode to be released and I never get tired of the chaotic bro-lationship between these two. Love this s**t!!
I love this show because I also argue like this about this stuff with my friends and it reminds me that people can disagree with each other and engage in playful banter without it devolving into verbal or physical abuse, or worse, not talking to or engaging with each other at all. Thank you Sal and Joe!
i never thought that when this podcast started i would end up agreeing with joe more, also a blueberry muffin can go throw itself out of my hand if i had a boson cream donut
I agree! I see a donut and instantly want it because they look way more exciting than they really are. But as soon as i eat one i feel like theres a brick laying in my stomach. Im going with muffin on this. Especially the blueberry with the big sugar crystals baked on top.
I constantly feel bad for Joe, especially this episode because the poor babe doesn’t understand what steam is and how it works. You can almost feel bad for Sal this episode, it has to balance eventually, right? Right?!
