I’ve lost count of the number of seasons I have watched you plant, harvest, maintain and repair equipment, keep up with the latest software and farm production equipment and order parts and seeds… it just never gets old. You guys are amazing and we are blessed to have such dedicated young farmers. Not trying to be sappy, but I see that American flag flying behind your planter and am reminded how much you all are a part of making America great.

You guys should be keeping at least a couple gallons of fresh water in gallon milk jugs to immediately rinse insecticide spills off you. It's very caustic to human skin and can lead to skin cancer. I've a good childhood friend up in Michigan who didn't take it seriously and he ended up with skin cancer related to incecticide. He'd go entire days without rinsing it off. They beat it but he's no longer able to farm due to allergies to insecticides.

I know this is before the rains set in but the forecast rain looks like a complete deluge of rain coming, hope that what y'all have in the ground survives . Looking at the National Weather forecast looks biblical rains, I pray to God that you all survive this ! Thanks for another great video Chet and Dougo. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable. Good one. Congratulations on finishing your corn planting for 2024!!!!!!!! You all did great. Now just some soybeans to finish up. Go get em!!!!!! What is the status on your black beans. Are those in the ground yet. Thought a while back you said they were I think?????? Your big tractor pulling the new planter is a lease. So on a lease they set the hours. Hopefully your dealer will give you a little Leeway there OR you can just but it. Let’s see how this works out. Am real happy for you that you have the corn in the ground. Good going everyone!!!!!! Chet you and your dad be careful with those chemical burns. Nothing to fool around with. Take care you two. About it I guess. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve. PS: A father and son standing in a just completed field of corn and finishing corn for 2024 is some to be proud of!!!!!! What more could the father or son ask for!!!!!! I am proud of both of you and the wonderful relationship father and son have. Just great Dougo and Chet!!!!!!!!
