Dougo when you pull the plugs if one or more are wet or fouled and running richer you may have a coil pack problem. I had a similar issue and I replaced all the plugs and coil packs. Fixed

For the side of the car to fill gas. Look for the small gas pump symbol and arrow next to it on the dashboard. The arrow points to the side of the car where the gas tank is located.
Hey Dougo! Put a little Marvel Mystery oil in as well. Av gas is considered to be dry. No lubrication to it. I mix av gas and 93 non ethanol in my drag car. About 2 ounces per 5 gallons of av gas.

Dougo , always use Sta-bil marine in your fuel. Helps with the ethanol fuel. I’ve run it in my 27 foot Tiara and haven’t had any problems. Boats don’t get the use cars and trucks do. Keeps the carbs clean on my twin small block Chevys also. Best of luck and run your pontoon often it helps.
Douglas. Read operating manual on engine for recommended fuel. 100 LL is low lead. Lead will damage charcoal filters. Again check manual. If you don’t have a manual you can download or read on the internet ! Always go by what is said in manual, the manufacturer puts that out. They designed it they know what to do and don’t do! Always enjoy your videos. A comment about RV's - my Wife and I were on the verge of purchasing a Class A Motorhome but when you consider the cost, constant repairs, inferior construction, cost of ownership. It just is not logical. If you buy one find a good repair shop, because that is where it will stay most of the time. God Bless Both of you!!

Marine mechanic here. Definitely change your spark plugs even thou the look perfect. Four strokes engines are very sensitive to causing miss at any speed even thou it idles nice. Just burn non rec gas in your engine it will cost you a little more but will save you thousand down the road
Dougo I had a similar issue on my mercury, tried absolutely everything (like you have). Found out that it was the fuel controller. And of course it wasn’t under warranty so $1500 later it was fixed
Bpight the 2019 Ram 1500 Longhorn, Air bags is a must have ,the ride is smoth and quite...but on your gravel roads no sure I'd get the retractable running boards .. The stationery ones would act as a rock sheild
Wow, Dougo I don't know who came up with the plane fuel idea but I'm not convinced it is the best idea. I can say that once I started dumping SEAFOAM fuel additive into the fuel of all my small engines I have not had any carburetor issues.
You can change your imovie & youtube settings to use cell and wifi. I think defaults are wifi area only.. you have to change them to use your mobile cell too.. 😝
91 non oxygenated fuel is all you need for a stock boat motor. If you put higher octane in a stock motor, the motor will actually put out less horsepower than what its rated for. Kwik Trip sells it. Non oxygenated also helps keep the fuel from degrading over time.
Dpf filter and catalytic converter there's an additives for that cleans all carbon out engine and exhaust system it goes straight into your petrol tank

Doug. Just use non Ethanol 91 in all your gas engines. The ethanol is bad for all fuel systems, especially the small engines that sit a lot. The 100 low lead is not necessary..

Might I remind you Doug that you also have forest fires in the US, they just aren’t blowing your way so they don’t concern. Of course how about that brown stuff in the air over in California, or the many coal fired generating plants that you guys provide to the air we all breathe. Agree that the smoke in 2023 was very bad but we Canadians aren’t the only one’s polluting and those fires are caused by natural elements. Oh and that’s a really nice Canadian built trailer that you just bought.
You should use 92 non oxygenated gas it doesn't have alcohol in it for all of road atv and snowmobile and boat engines, 100 aviation fuel has lots of lead will plug catalytic converter

I use what they call. Rec fuel. Hate to say it, but the fuel that has corn in it ruins the plastic parts on your engine from what I was told I started using fuel a couple years ago never had a problem since I don’t know I’m just saying.
You're overthinking this, If you put in higher octane than you need all that happens is you spend more than you need to. Spark knock tells you if it is too low.
