When I was a teenager, 60 years ago, my friends and I used to go in these tunnels and explore . We never put any graffiti on the walls as far as I remember. Our parents never knew we were going in there. The Dropt Redout , the "Pill Boxes" along the western Heights that were lookouts during WW2 and all the moats were our playground; our sort of secret haunts. We only lived a mile away from all this. Great memories 🙂👍
What an amazing adventure. You all tackled the tunnels and tight spaces really well. I couldn't do it, I'm claustrophobic. Always feel sorry for Ray because he is the less confident adventurer. Well done to you all. Xxx
enjoyed this Steve wow this cave wasn't for the faint hearted was it😱 talk about tight squeeze I didn't think ray wud be able to do it great explore though 👍
Definitely not for the faint hearted! Was a super challenge. I think the tight crawls and stuff we did Matt didn’t do so you might have seen a little more on my version. Thanks for watching 😎
@@ExploringWithin I started off watching it with a cup of tea ..but the last half hour of it i was on the straight vodka! .. yes the long explores are always good :)
What an awesome video! I I live here, and have slide down the same bank In the intro, I have been trying for a while to find the way into this system and chance you can pm me and help me out with the correct entry point.
I used to go through these tunnels when I was little every way I used to go seems to be blocked or covered over I would love to get back through them now !! I found that place where you slid down a few weeks back when I went out looking and can’t remember where I found it any help would be much appreciated.
