An idea that I thought would be hilarious as well as a tribute. Warhammer Goblins with the Goblin Town Song from The Hobbit animated movie. I loved this song and the designs of the goblins in that movie and I love Total War Warhammer with the Greenskins being my favorite faction.
Inspiration came from watching the 1977 animated movie The Hobbit.

All audio footage does not belong to me, it is from the Rankin&Bass The Hobbit movie from 1980. All video footage belongs to CA, Sega, and Games Workshop

My favorite goblin design is the Peter Jackson Fellowship of the Ring goblins though. I'm still furious that we didn't see those goblins in his Hobbit films.

They were a lowly slave race that once freed for a short while developed very rudimentary culture and language that Tolkien didnt elaborate as much on as he should have. Its all mythopoetics anyway and these are like extensions of what tolkiens orcs were.

Warhammer orcs make Middle Earth orcs look weak. But Warhammer goblins look fucking pathetic. I'd put my money on a Peter Jackson Fellowship of the Ring goblin.

@@skjaldulfr They are pretty evenly matched BUT goblin shamans in Warhammer can cast actual magic while riding a spider the size of an actual building. (The ARACHNAROK) LoTR Spider riders got nothing on that. Plus Night Goblins probably outmatch a 1 v 1 physically and mentally even without magic or mushrooms.
