Joe, this is an amazingly detailed video. Game companies should be making videos like these themselves or better yet outsourcing them to skilled and enthusiastic people like yourself. It gives me as a prospective purchaser a really good idea of how the game works and if I get it I'll use it as a reference. Thank you good sir!
Very helpful video. I played this for the first time yesterday, and as a big fan of WW2 air combat, it was interesting and enjoyable. I found the rule manual very difficult to understand, though, so this video helped a lot.
I know I'm 8 years late, but yeah the rule manual was definitly an issue with our friends, the bursts mechanic was not explained, same for the fact we could react to manoeuvers which left us with a really poor first experience, I hope to play it again with this time the right rules !
In the example with a gunner you showed that the ME-410 scored 2 hits from the in my sights card and 1 from playing the tactics card. No hit from having 1 gunner? What difference would it make for being in that situation with 2 gunners as the P-61 Black Widow does?
Thanks, Michael. I have never played it solitaire. Being a pure card game, it seems to me that a lot of the game's essence would be lost by playing it solitaire, where you would have full knowledge of the cards on each side.
