Blackie, I have been subbed for while now and I have to say there are moments when I think, "not how I would do it" but there are other times, like this time, when you just nail the subject, thought through and well versed. Outstanding!
After seeing this, I have a new appreciation for a longer loop on my stakes and like another said, guess what I am fixin’ to do? Love learning new things, and today especially. Great vid for old woodsman and new alike!!!
Thanks for that Blackie do you have an opinion on bungee loops with a ball ? I know for a while they seemed to be all the rage to the point where Amazon sold them in packs Yours Bill
Where did you find/buy the dacron line? What other small line could be used not able to find bank line nor probably dacron line neither. In my "woods" Paracord word Paracord I rather use for other things i.e ridge lines etc. 😉
any small strong line will do..bankline is easy to find where fishing suppliers are sold same for my dacron line its saltwater fishing line for going after big stuff like marlin
Hi Blackie , this question doesn't pertain to tent stakes , but rather to revolvers. I bought an 1860 Colt Army revolver a while back , used by the way. It had no front sight so I had my gunsmith put one on it. Rather than the bead sight he put an 1873 Army blade sight on it which I thought was fine. The gun shoots low at about 10 yards. My question is , should I file the blade down to bring the group up higher ? Am I thinking correctly ?
@@BLACKIETHOMAS Thanks very much , you're always a big help.

A tree chopped itself down and took the internet out? You could have batoned the tree into toothpicks and repaired the internet with Gorilla Tape! LOL Sorry, Couldn't resist!
