Well done another excellent job quality production... Very wise to avoid Hwy down to the Gold Coast & Border in the arvo what a nightmare of traffic till you dart into that tunnel under Coolangatta airport.. Bin their done that & I guarantee this can make one a tad grumpy.. A little traffic to Redbank as per norm.. Lucky you are not going over the Gap Tues 30/10/23 Temps are going to be over the Mid 30c. Ipswich expecting 36c & we have 50knot plus winds perfect for driving in, at least you did not get stopped for nightly roadworks in the Gap...Great to see the professional way you do things, pre trip, weights etc. The butt stops at you & you are the boss in control, What happens is your decision & its your wallet that will feal the pain when things are not done right.. To many out here forget its all on them safety of the vehicle,.. that dirty word Chain Of Responsibility Legislation Law we have.. 😀😀😀😀

Bloke in the roadhouse who was a bit short with you. Like me you’ve been around and some blokes…and girls…have good days and bad days and being stuck in a roadhouse working shift is not my idea of a career. Sometimes you have to do jobs that you hate because there are no other options at the time and looking ahead there seems to be no way out. I give these people a fair bit of lead as they are living in shitstreet and wearing it. Hopefully they can dig their way out, but in country towns that’s hard.

Pulled up at Narrabri myself the other day had the super break roll for 11 bucks and a real good feed..Made me feel much better as I hoped back in my trusty T 600 KW

Kenny does a line-haul driver only work on ABN or can they work on wages ? and what would be better the kilometre rate or working for an hourly rate on wages for a transport company

I drove from Coffs to Sydney on Friday and drove back on Sunday. I got a crick in my neck trying to read the numbers on the cabs on all the Lyndsays trucks. You need a flag on the front so we can spot you. Cheers.

When I loaded trucks I knew to the Kg how much each pallet weighed, That must suck mate.

I thought the dock loading should know average weight of Trailer not waste Truck driver time check 3 times, but i not expert

I was busy in the NTO last night with diverting trucks around the warrick fires it’s bad up there I’ve got to nights off but I will definitely give u a call on ya truck phone and introduce myself and say hi only been in there for 8 months now!! Just a quick question why don’t you drive any of the cab overs

Goodday Ken, You looked haggard before you even got going. That would piss me off load reload to keep the weights right, & then the guard issue & if you are getting paid by the kilometre you are doing all this work for no dollars. On the wharf as a PAYE employee, anything after 8 hours is overtime. No cameras, no MM, no GPS & I get to get home for lunch & at the end of the day hang up the keys go home. Ken you need a driving job like me. Was over in Adelaide this weekend for a Classic Muscle Car Show, what a rough road that Western Highway is. Went via Ouyen to Adelaide dropped my son to work on a farm up there. Calder Highway rough as you felt it in the Amarok. Drinks on me if I catch up with you in Melbourne. Safe driving buddy & use gloves for the air lines & turntable Cheers Louis Kats 👍
