I had a wonderful conversation with Tom outside the cornfield show speaking about our origins in the business and the state of the hobby. He is an excellent person and always willing to give you a moment of his time. First Class Guy!
@@larryburwell8550 I can understand that. That's also a very legitimate reason to sell a part of your collection if it's benfits your kids. I would have done exactly the same if had kids.
Thomas; Run your videos as long as you like! We who subscribe love your very historical and interesting items. I especially love that Imperial dagger. What a sad piece of naval history.
Hi again. I just did a little digging.. SMS Frauenlob was a light cruiser and the Battle of the Heligoland (Helgoland) Bight on 08.24.1914 was the first Anglo-German naval battle of WW-1. 👍😎
I have a youth armband. The only one I have in my collection. I'll need to dig it out and check now that you've given me some knowledge of them. I also recently acquired the dagger version of that black Luftwaffe sword you brought out near the end. I believe it was from '34. Need to find out more about it. Thank you Tom!
If what Tom said is true about the line under the stamped numbers being indicative of a questionable disk, hopefully whoever is considering buying that item will see this video beforehand.
I think you would have a table with the goods on, so Mr Wittman don’t have to do all this heavy lifting. Or two wagons - unpacked gods -ordinary red table-and one wagon to place the things after they have been showed. Very educational as always 😀
I know someone in Orlando with a train Eagle. A real big one. He also has two wheels of official state stamps and also several medal dyes, among hundreds of other items, including American and Japanese, but I too focus on the German militaria. A couple of the stamps have the Star of David on them which is very sobering. He said his train eagle was worth about $15K but what do I know. He's got volumes of books on all kinds of collecting including lots of "Edged Weapons of the Third Reich" hardback books he lent me. I recently caught back up with him. He told me the wife tells him "everything is for sale."
Hi, Tom! Enjoying the video as always. Just a thought about the missing crest on the Imperial Navy dagger scabbard.. do you think that it may have been the ship's crest of the SMS Frauenlob? Perhaps commemorating his first posting? Just a thought. 👍😎
4 am. Cup of coffee. And watching a DTC episode. Gonna be a great day. Absolutely love your videos Tom. I think the company that sent you the Bokker SS dagger did so on purpose. They just got free advertising on your very popular show. Just my opinion. Keep the DTC coming Tom. All the best my friend
JR you need to keep camera slow and smooth and Camera needs to not move so fast and jerky.....slow n smooth....pull out to get the whole image in frame just go in for close inspections but move very slow.... nice showing.
Maybe the Army belt from the fat guy belonged to General Burkhalter! "Klink! You idiot!" LOL! Just kidding Tom. I hope you don't mind the jokes I post in the comments. I am just kidding.
Nice stuff....again! Question; after an unboxing video, how long does it take before putting the stuff on your webside? Greetings, Mike from the Netherlands.
