Hello everyone 👋🏼 Some have wondered why we have put this episode out on YT without the visuals? Simply, there are no pictures available on this occasion but we wanted to make sure that anyone who automatically tunes into OMG! MotoGP on RU-vid could find it easily. We hope you enjoy it, Jim is a star man on so many levels and we’re grateful for the time he spent with us at The Stirrup Cup.
Love listening to Whit. One of the biggest problems we have nowadays is the lack of club racing. So many clubs have disappeared over the last few years. We used to be marshalling nearly every weekend, now there's only a handful of races at Cadwell a year, all being replaced by track days.
Fantastic! Jim Whit tells the best stories, the body in the boot had me crying with laughter so had to rewind a couple of times to hear it al - the best! Thanks for the fun 😅
Aston Martin made a car and a great engine but needed a gearbox so David Brown made the gearboxes for them hense the DB series..James Whitham what a crazy guy on a bike and a proper Funny gezza in real life..Chapeau Sir..✌🏻
The word legend is thrown about an awful lot these days This is one guy that can be actually be described as one, he truly is a legend, and absolutely down to earth with it
Next time you see Chris herring ask him how good his chip buttys were ,had one every day for school dinner ,then he was one of the fastest meat delivery drivers I’d seen ,great lad
Just a suggestion, when someone from the crowd asks a question, either repeat the question or mic them. That way, your online audience will know what the question is being asked.
Brilliant, Moto gp get rid of all that shit Correct, Freedom to live your own life regardless of the danger absolutely, James Whitham is not only a very funny guy, a great rider in his time & understands our sport completely, & completely agree about woman racing, Jenny T is great but time will bring on more who can compete equally with men, finally electric vehicles it’s not just me, they don’t & can not work with the current (sorry) technology, well said Jim🍷🍷🍷
14:15, when Chris Carter was commentating at places like Darley Moor, if you wanted a chat you had to borrow someone's girlfriend to go into the box with you or you got funny looks from the other riders.
The BSB commentating has not been the same without Jack. I quess the Steve Day's of this world might fit better in today 'politically correct" world. Really the only ones left today that are not afraid to spice things up a bit. Are Jamie and Neil. With all to respect for Micheal Laverty and Silvan . The MotoGP broadcast wouldn't be the same without Neil in that group alongside Suzy. And it was a sad day to miss Keith not to mention Julian and Toby in the past. Would have loved to see Keith being next to Jamie in BSB.
WARNING : World Superbike's are ONLY ( 2 - 3 seconds ) behind MotoGP ... Today. & they will NOT be dropping their ( 1000cc ) engines & Aero. ( ie ... purposely slowing their Bikes ) MotoGP's "New Coke" Nightmare moment will be the day WSBK out Qualify's MotoGP.
If you click the audio settings on your machine/device, and deselect 'Mute', you can listen to some voices describing accurately what was said at the event. I tried this, and it allowed me to have lunch and even go about my work while listening to this audio, and use my imagination to picture what two blokes sat on a couch holding a microphone looked like, much as I have been able to with other podcasts on the OMG MotoGP Podcast.
