Having had CONSERVATIVE filler for 15+ years (I am 60) I really understand the importance of what you mention as foundation filler. You can't go to a dermatologist and ask to have one issue corrected and have it look natural because you need the base to look believable. Hence, we saw many people getting lip fillers and you could tell from one look that it didn't look right. This is a beautiful enhancement of a downturned mouth because the cheeks and chin were addressed. Well done!
What kind of filler do you get because I do know filler can move and I've heard certain kinds (maybe the kinds with hyuloronic acid?) help prevent it from migrating add forming that "puff face" that happens when ppl keep getting more nor realizing that the body isn't absorbing it but in reality it's moving. Wow, that was a mouthful, but you probably know what I am speaking about.
@@deedisano6919 that's what I'd love to know. It's certainly a better option than going under the knife, which always seems to give a 'Joker' smile IMO
@@TheKatarinaGiselle To get a natural result over years you have to build a relationship with a dermatologist. You must be clear about what you hope to achieve and they will use any number of fillers to achieve natural effects. Also be prepared to spend a certain amount of money every year. It is not a one time thing because we keep aging. We want to age beautifully, don't we? When we here about puffing and such, it's because people are looking for quick fixes. Speak to a qualified doctor. Fillers for the long term and they are not cheap.
Beautiful! I have this very same issue. I usually don't care for how fillers look, but her results look wonderful and very natural. She looks refreshed, youthful and it's subtle. Excellent job!
@@donnavargas1797 My 6th-grade teacher had the nerve to say that to me😞 (exactly what you typed) ~in front of my entire full classroom. And, by high school, in 9th grade, I was selected by the drama teacher to play a girl whose cat died. 🙄
I would love to have a price on what she's having done I know prices might vary but I'm very interested in that work you did with her and also marionette lines what I could do about them thank you
@@ziggyustar3137 The longest recovery time will be 2 weeks for product to settle. Just some bruising in the first week. In the UK this would cost between £350 and £800. Filler products can last up to 2years.

@@daniellesnyder7734 Same, I wanted a slight lift of jowl area and I was told PDO threads wouldn't do it, and I didn't need filler as cheeks were full. I'm wondering why I was told this.
@@bittersweet82 You were most likely told that you needed thread and could not have fillers because the Dermatologist would be able to collect more money from you for the thread procedure over the injections.
I had filler added to my marionette lines and I love it. It made me look happier and one side of my mouth was turned down and it corrected that too! It was worth every penny.
I'm no doctor, but I've always been able to tell that my/the chin area needed some 'work'. I'm just so amazed that no other doctors or nurses that I've been to have addressed the area like this guy did. Was he shown this in training - or did he simply see it with his own eye (like I have)...? 🤔 Lovely results! 🤩
She's got such beautiful eyes to look into...the whole time I just wanted her to look up! That is beauty that will never go away! As a sidenote: These are the best results I've ever seen from filler..most facelifts (with scars and healing time) aren't this successful! Well done by this physician. Not sure what long term effects of continuous filler will look like..she may need to get it dissolved and start again...but as I said this gal is a solid beauty no matter what. 👀👀👀
the happiness and mental health benefits that some of these small procedures can bring to people, especially those suffering from body dysmorphia will always be much more valuable than any hocus pocus talk therapy or side effect filled antidepressant therapies.
@@user-zp8sk2rc4m Why would I be? People suffering from lipoatrophy, nerve damage or connective tissue syndromes or whatever are often called hypochondriacs and "treated" with pseudoscientific talk therapies which do not have any safety or efficacy records as they cannot be placebo and double blinded controlled.
@@philippillis9393 I understand your perspective and appreciate you clarifying your original point. I think the topic is highly nuanced and can't be a 'one-size fits all' mode of treatment. I think both types of therapies can be effective in treating such issues. Obviously, it depends on the person being treated.
@@user-zp8sk2rc4m I'm not agaisnt talk therapies but since they cannot be evaluated by the golden standard approach I think they should be personal options on the table as spiritual or religious or any other lifestyle choice rather than being paid with public funds and called "therapies " with no quality evidence regarding their safety nor efficacy. Of course antidepressants are life saving drugs but sometimes are prescribed off label to treat people who are yes in distress but that can benefit from other approaches who have less bothersome side effects. Botox is effective for chronic headaches and facial asymmetries and nerve-muscular damages but it's very difficult to have it prescribed through public healthcare or insurance, instead they will give you meds that more often offer a short lived placebo effect. Also Amitriptyline is often prescribed for chronic headaches in spite of its high occurrence of side effects when a a shorter therapy with benzodiazepines and botox injections might provide more solid and long lasting benefits with fewer side effects. Every patient is different and healthcare systems should learn to listen to each patient more rather than reading statistics alone.
What helped me was accepting the fact that my body ages. Things that used to be firm are flabby now. I have learned after 10 years to just accept that this is a part of life. You'll always find something to be unhappy about, even after surgeries.
Wow I am truly astonished! This gives me a whole new perspective on filler. I can totally see if you can get natural results like this why anyone would want to do this procedure
So natural and such a great job! And if she decided to add just a little filler to her lips just to make her lips slightly more pouty and to make her lips appear less long, that would also help a lot! It's amazing how just a little bit can go a long way!!
I don’t know I just think those comments really sad I mean she decided to do this to make herself feel better by then for people to go well and she just had a little bit of this a little bit of that she would look so much better. I just doesn’t sound very nice. Why is this country hate people aging so much it’s literally natural and I understand getting stuff done if you want to but then to sit there and go oh well if this person just had this or not they look so much better and I just think that’s wrong to say that about other people
@@Dolcevita_bakes Maybe you're making it sad because you don't mind aging prematurely or "naturally." Some people love delaying the inevitable and appreciate corrective criticism or suggestion that could contribute to enhancing their beauty. Skin, hair and lips thin as we age. (President Biden could use filler on his upper lip. His is nonexistent now). Like it or not, our society reward$ youth and beauty. We're not caveman anymore.
@@Dolcevita_bakesRelax! If someone goes to get fillers they obviously are open minded about the fact that you can obviously "perfectioniz" a lot of things that are not considered conventionally attractive. That's literally why you'd seek out such a treatment. I myself am about to get lip fillers and I am glad to have seen this video because I might not want to go for as much fillers into my lips as initially I thought but rather "treat" the appearance of the corners pointing down
I totally get the droopy lips thing. After having chemo for breast cancer my mouth and teeth changed. As a result I had to have braces. Due to the difference of the way my teeth ended up my mouth ended up drooping downward. I was told this might happen.
Wow! What as fantastic result. I hate the fact that my mouth droops down at the sides and I hate my teeth. I hate having my photo taken or being in a gathering of people as well. I would have this treatment done if I could afford it. Unlikely to ever happen so I’ll just have to keep my ugly mug as it is.
Thank goodness 4 face mask they cover droopy mouths, triple chins and facial hair.. the virus may come and go.. but the mask can be used 4 many reasons, no need 4 fillers just wear a mask. I'm jokeing but serious..lol. 😁
Nurse Injector here. I'm interested to know why you didn't start with toxin in the DAOs to prevent more mechanical stress on the filler? I'd love to better understand that approach. Great video.
Do me next, I have the same issues! I'm be turning 63 soon, and virtually wrinkle free. I'm told I look younger than my age. However, I feel like it's my down turned mouth that ages me most. Wish I could have this procedure done.
I was always told fillers do not work for that that exactly. Good to see that it does. But holy cow all the stabbing of the needle just is too much for me, That would be painful
There is another Dermatologist (on RU-vid)that is treating a woman who has an infection in half her face from the eye area down to the bottom of her chin....after having fillers. Women should just get good skincare , subtle makeup and smile. No fillers!
Wow, what a difference in her profile!! Can you go over exactly what fillers you used where?? I would love to go see you, but I am in California! I really need a facelift, however I was reading it was between $15,000-$$$ more!! How much are these fillers and how long will they last???
It should cost you no more than 600.00 to 800.00 each side. If anyone wants more than that, leave and find another place. Your best bet is to go to a "reputable " spa and have a nurse practitioner do it, for that price. Going to a MD will cost you a lot more.
I have this same problem ever since I was younger. Strangers always say to me " cheer up, it might never happen", or " you look like your going to cry... I have sad eyebrows too so it's a double whammy.
Sad mouth, yes I know. I have it. Always had a lil downturn mouth and with age, it's like this lady in the video. I'm not sure how sad eyebrows look like
Amazing !! I would think that would hurt like crazy!! She never even flinched ! Not even a smidge!! I need to look this guy up and see where he practices ? I wonder the cost and how often this needs to be done ?
@@gia7698 I was thinking that but I didn’t see him numb her or hear anything about that unless I missed it. I was thinking man that’s gotta hurt big time. 😂 I wonder what he used , like maybe a numbing cream ??
@@debbieklose8776 probably a high strength ELMA cream. You can buy 5% in the chemist, I use this strength for electrolysis but I’m sure he would use a medical higher strength considering how deep those needles went ….ooch 😳
Far-out I think she looked great before hand, and think she looks great after, but those needles in the face but rough. she looks refreshing. Well done who ever did the work .
So many people ( lots is stars ) look awful after work done I mean it ruins our face, I’m looking at people who have gotten so much done to their lips that that’s the only thing you see when you look at them people need to get somebody good like this doctor and be very careful
Looks amazing but my worries is where do these filler goes to in your system when it dissolve and is safe at all? And how often does one need to refill if I may say so😆
I’ve never had filler before but I am very close to booking an appointment to have this exact problem area fixed. I’m curious though - do you use dental blockers or any other anaesthetic? She looks amazing, but my stomach was churning thinking how painful this process looked 😣 I am not a big fan of needles…
I just wonder in the long run where all this goes and is it gonna cause more problems?? I guess I'm just excited to be 58 that little things like this doesn't bother me as many people have passed away recently.
Good for you, but other's like myself with really down turned mouths look like we are really sad or mad all the time. Believe me people knotice it in us. The face can set the tone in social and work situations.
Why are you even watching if you're not interested in cosmetic procedures? It's baffling. And, btw, I love myself too, but I'm not against getting a procedure to look like a better version of myself. 🙂
So true, it impacts social life and communication. People often times misjudge you as sad and being mad and it can impact worklife also. If procedure can improve ur look amd make look more refreshed and frndly. Shud get it done.
@@dmrd222 a better version of yourself? That is the most vapid thing I have ever heard as a justification for these procedures. Point is… you are already good enough. I feel sad for you.
It really doesn't hurt that much. .they put some surface numbing on the skin first, and there is usually lidocaine in the filler mix too, which helps. Lips are the most painful as more nerves there. It's very manageable.
I would prefer to use facial massage to obtain the same results. What exactly is he putting into her face? What is the chemical composition of this "filler"? How long will it last? Are there any side effects? Not for me
That's why I am so scared to inject anything in my face, all those substances must go somewhere inside the body :(. I wish I have the courage and free care, also the big money lol. Sometimes I think good thing I don't have the money, seems like once you do it you have to keep doing it forever.
