Downgrade Redmi Note 12 NFC from Xiaomi HyperOS to MIUI 14 Android 13 Official. Downgrade manually from TWRP Recovery. You may want go back to MIUI 14 :-). This is not custom or port ROM but Stock / Official Firmware update for Redmi Note 12 NFC - Topaz MIUI 14 Android 13 ROM. Use at your own risk, I'm not responsible for bricking your device.

Biggest regret is update to HyperOS...man i cannot play my Call of duty anymore...lagging so bad. I need to downgrade back to previous version and i guess its not easy. Have to send to shop.

@@oxnn Yeah bro tried downgrading it myself couldn’t get past the stage of unlocking it with my pc seems xiaomi blocked that. So I sent it to their Service Center, figures my phone is out of warranty so I was charged a fee and it was downgraded to MIUI 13 it’s working perfectly now never gonna upgrade it again till I change the phone. Update: it is decent, the phone is a bit faster, but the battery drains a bit faster. Not a lot tho. And the new UI is kinda ok, but I wish that they could've kept the transparency in the control center

I had a 30% battery drain overnight after the hyperOS update. With MIUI I had only 5-6% battery drain overnight.

I will try the hyperos beta, but I've heard that the beta might be buggy, so i might donwgrade back to miui 14. Do i need an unlocked bootloader for this? And, let's say that i don't have root. If i don't have root but my bootloader is unlocked, can i still use banking apps?

I believe downgrading down to MIUI means you can still use banking apps. The same cannot be said for custom ROMs.

If you try, there's 2 things that may happen: 1- Your device is not going to accept that and just block the installation 2-Your device may recognize the rom as a update (yes, i saw it happen once) and it will flash the rom... But suddenly your device will try to boot and it will be in a bootloop/softbrick(best case) or end in a hardbrick(worst case), at this point, with hardbrick, your phone is basically dead...
