Glory to God!!! I praise God that I found this song from my childhood! One of mom's works, while she was here on earth, was to teach her children about our precious Jesus! 🙏❤🙏
Praise The LORD !!!! My mom, brother, and I sang that back in the 70's. When we finished, our pastor said, "sing it AGAIN !" So we did. What a blessing of GOD's spirit ! PTL
I miss the the Downings and all those other groups from back in the 60's and 70's that are no longer with us. My parents worked for the Chords back then so I got to be around many of these great groups like the Orrells, The Acts, The Keystones, The Abraham Brothers, London Paris & The Young Apostles and The 2nd Chapter of Acts. What great music we have got to grow up with.
I grew up with gospel music here in Toronto. Blackwoods, Downings, all groups. As a young kid of 14 I saw how Paul acted on stage with other female singers and ignoring his wife. Never left Flow Dodge Allan. Asked my mom how he could flirt like that as a Christian and as on stage. All Night Sings at Massy Hall!
Paul Downing, JD Sumner, George Younce, Big Chief, Armond Morales and London Paris were great bass singers that sounded distinctly different. Paul shows great quality here.
@@aaroncormier8411 This doesn't look or sound like anything I've seen of Gospel Singing Jubilee. The Downings sang Southern Gospel, but this isn't exactly Southern Gospel in any strict or disciplined way. Feel like this is probably some other show or venture they did in the late '70s.
