I have the Amazon fire plus generation 11 tablet. I went to the website provided & entered the address EXACTLY AS WAS TOLD TO DO & it worked! Google play will update itself as needed. I signed into my Google account on the play store & I'm extremely happy to say this worked! This was the first video I watched to set up my Google life on my kindle fire & it worked PERFECTLY! Thank you so much for making this video. It saved me time of having to dig for the required info I needed!

@@SimplySmart123 I have a problem. For some reason google play logged me out of my account and my password doesnt work (or I forgot my password) what do I do? I unistalled google play and google play services and redid the steps in this video and downloaded Google Play again and it still wanted me to enter in my password. Whenever I tap (forgot password) it says it couldnt identify it was me and it tells me to go somewhere for help. I dont know how to make a new Google Play account and I dont know how to change my password. Please help!

I actually did this before finding your video. Used the split screen and everything. Worked like a charm, took me all of ten minutes to pull it off. It worked flawlessly. Now I got a Fire HD 10 Plus with the Play Store.

Thank you! I had tried other installs on the 2021 version. I bought 2 tablets. One installed easily but the other one didn't. This method worked for the stubborn one.
I was able to download it all & it worked to a point. I have a couple of games I play but they tend to crash quite often. RU-vid app crashed on me once so far so I don't know what the issue could be & I might just end up resetting my tablet to factory & just call it a day. It was fun while it lasted.
Thank you so much! The problem I am having is signing in to Google, once everything is downloaded. I tried different versions of Google play, and restarted it, but the green "sign in" button doesn't respond when I press it. Anyone else have this issue?
Sometimes this happens. Check the troubleshooting steps at the bottom of the article to hopefully fix the problem. Also sometimes you just need some time to update so you may just have to wait for a while and come back tomorrow just make sure your tablet is connected to Wi-Fi

Hello! I have a few questions, but first I just say I LOVE MY tablet! It's a 5th generation and I've had it since I was like 7-8, and my question is why does it say that the folders could harm the divice, cos as I said I LOVE MY tablet and if it brakes imma cry!! But other then that thank you for explaining, and if I get an answer that it won't do anything had to my tablet, I'll try it!! Thank yooouuu!! ♥
Nothing shown in this video harm your device. Worst case scenario is you may have to do a factory reset if something goes really wrong. But all you were doing is installing if you files so the Google play store will work.

I have the 11th generation and this works for it as well as of 10/7/21. Just chose the fisrt links on all four downloads. It's the most current. Thanks a million!
I was disappointed when I realized that google play wasn’t available on my new Fire HD10, 11th generation I was going to return it solely on that reason because of school apps not being available but this step by step got google play on my homescreen thanks man 🙏🏼

I just kept trying different ones and eventually found one further down the list that would finish downloading, and now my son is a very happy camper! Couldn’t have done it without you!

Yay, now I can do USEFUL things with my brand new Gen 11 Plus tablet. Amazon's app selection is so poor to the point where people make apps that are just full-screen browser bookmarks to the websites bc amazon doesn't have their app. (see reddit, youtube, etc.). There were a couple of hitches, like the whole google sign in process crashed out bc I didn't enter my OTP in 2 seconds and a LOT of apps in the google play store won't download to this device but it's STILL the best thing you can do for your Fire tablet. I got that new keyboard case so now I have a tablet for reading and a thin-and-light chromebook for whatever else with a battery that actually lasts all day. This Prime Day deal keeps getting better!

I have tried it both ways and it works with the SD card inserted. But it does depend on how you have your ST card set up on your tablet. You really want to install the Google play store on the hard drive of your tablet and not on in SD card. By removing the card there will be only one location option to install the google play store.

Admittedly, I am technologically challenged, and your video was very instructive. However, something went wrong. The Google play icon shows up on my home screen and it will take me to "sign in." When I try to sign in, nothing happens even though I have restarted, walked away for several hours, restarted and waited again. The files show one of the downloads was unsuccessful, but I can not figure out which one. Is there a "do over" button? Can I "uninstall" all of the downloads by activating the uninstall button? Thanks in advance for your reply.
Oh my, I tried again and got a "forbidden" message, then "unsuccessful" message. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Amazon and did a factory reset and they will be sending me a new device!

This was a great video. I did run into an issue. After I finished setting up the tablet, the time was wrong. I tried to changed it in Settings > Device Options > Date & Time. I turned off Automatic Time Zone and each time I tap on Select time zone the screen changes back to Device Options. Any suggestions?
That is a new one. I haven’t had anyone else say that happened to them and I’m pretty sure it didn’t happen to me. I’m not exactly sure what you can do except for being sure that you are connected to Wi-Fi and wait for it to 🔃 back up.
I picked up a Fire 6 at a yard sale. Works fine; good battery, but that D_ _ _ Amazon stuff sucks. I tried Fire Tool box. It took a few tedious trips from factory reset to tools, but I finally got it working. Not bad for a $1 investment. (Bought a Galaxy Tab SCH-i800 for a buck, too. No charging cord, so I don't know if it works, but I did get a 16GB memory card. May toss the Galaxy--so old it may not run anything useful...[suggestions?])
@@SimplySmart123 You think a 10+ year old tablet can be upgraded to a more recent OS? I have no charging cord. I’m reluctant to spend $10 on a cord for a “pig in a poke” tablet.
Thank you, although there were 2 that I had to select from a list once I got to the download screen, the instant download was not available(red download button), but a new update for the fire just went out so that may be why. Just a heads up
