In this video tutorial you will learn how to download MODIS Terra data from Earthexplorer USGS. Through this method you can download band 1 to Band 7 at 500m resolution. Finally QGIS is used to visualize the downloaded MODIS imagery.

Sir can we use this MODIS Data for NDSI if we reclassify into 2 classes snow free and snow covered , is it i use Band for that like normally Band use for NDSI calculation if it possible what will be the threshold value for that Sir my research on NDSI please help is it possible or not
