Hello Dear Viewers,
Welcome to GIS & RS Solution Channel. Hope you are doing great. From this tutorial, You will learn how to download Rainfall data from 1901 to 2021 and make annual rainfall data. The data format is NetCDF. You will find several data types from the website. The link is given below;

In this tutorial You will learn;
Download high-resolution CRU Gridded monthly rainfall data (30’ X 30’) for the whole world; Process daily NETCDF file; composite band; Calculation of Annual rainfall , Convert Raster to point data; Interpolation (IDW), Cut study area and Overall create a Map Layout.

Thanks for this tutorial. What is the final spatial resolution of the precipitation map? Is it 30 m x 30 m? Because the original data has a resolution of 0.5° which is around 55 km x 55 km. Thank you in advance!

after exporting shapefile, when I am exporting raster data, and choosing the Data frame (current) . that time, the error is coming that failed to copy raster. even when the extent is Raster Dataset (original) then it is doing the further steps

In case of IMD data we have netCDF for every year. How to get the annual average rainfall in that case. Each netCDF file contains daily rainfall.

In this case, you have to collect rainfall data from the relevant organization (Metrological department) of your country.

@@GISRSSolution Thank you for replying. Yes, that would be an option. However, for my purpose, I would have only punctual data, needing some kind of interpolation after. So what I need is to extract the values referring to each band (time) from each cell, and organize it in a table where every 12 bands from each year are placed in a row, and this should be arranged for each cell coordinates. To be more clearer, my purpose is to create forecast models pertaining to data I have from the past.

dont waste ur time on this , this is wrong, u need precipitation stations to get the exct numbers , this is truly a waste of time
