All the process is right but at the end you should select Grid code in Z value because there are point values. Thats why, at the end the IDW result map is not correct.
Hi Sir, thanks for this video. I downloaded 5-year annual rainfall data for my AOI from CHRS and calculated the average rainfall. Can I still use the method "Convert Raster to point data; Interpolation (IDW)"? Would my output map still be 'Average Annual Rainfall' map? Thank you.
Yes, it is possible to process .grd rainfall data of IMD in ArcGIS. You can use the Grids and Graticules Wizard to add a reference grid to your map frame 1. You can also use the Geosoft Plugin for ArcGIS to load .grd files into ArcMap
