Not seen the *ITV* series yet, but after watching this short clip I'm loving all the *Yorkshire* accents everywhere. It just shows how clueless the *Americans* who watched it on *PBS* and elsewhere are, as I keep seeing them saying that everyone in *Downton Abbey* speak in *Posh* aka *BBC* aka *RP* (Received Pronunciation) accents.
@@ameliegibson4395 I'm normally just aggressive. I'm one of the few people on the Internet who is constantly correcting *Americans* who think every *British show* is *American* or made by the *BBC.* I even have to correct fellow *Brits* occasionally. It drives me mad when *American's* get simple things incorrect, which they could easily look up beforehand. I just found out yesterday, that in just a year of editing *IMDB* I've become the *254th ranked editor in the world.* I would've been higher if my body didn't give me problems occasionally forcing me to stop, like *pains in my hands* (in the middle of 2020), *pains in my arms* (around November and December 2020), and most recently slight annoying pains in my chest when my *heart starts beating at 100 mile an hour* for no reason. I'm certain I've got *arthritis,* which has got worse in the last 5 years, and always have had it, probably related to my *psoriasis* (which I've had since 2011), although the doctors never bother to do any tests to make sure, even when I request them. When I was a teenager they said they were *"growing pains."* The majority of pains in the last year however I suspect are probably because of my *smoking habit,* as they always seem to happen when I've been awake for around 18 hours. I started originally to correct, add and update, films, TV shows and people from my city, however when I see missing information which is related, but has nothing to do with my city, I just can't resist correct that too. I'm constantly getting sidetracked, and I've barely even started. There's 1000's of stuff I know of which is yet to be added to *IMDB.* For example last night I added a short, just to get 1 person on *IMDB.* That person had dedications in a documentary which was filmed in my city, and a drama short which was filmed in the city next door where she was born and raised, before she was murdered. I've since noticed that she also appeared in a music video which I'll also be adding eventually.
@@danielgardecki1046 Ayy, dios mio, you've been through the works, haven't you? Sorry about all those pains. Must really suck. But, on a side note, I really appreciate what you're doing. Helping to inform the uninformed. It's respectable.
Beautiful, I love downton abbey. True love for D.A from ITALY PS also beautiful the actors of tom branson and lord anthony "tony" ghilligam!! PPS sorry for my english 😖
Where in the world do you live? In the uk it’s on Amazon and BritBox, and I have to say I’ve just finished watching it and much to my surprise it’s one of the best tv shows I’ve ever seen.
Harry Worm - yeah it’s a bit off, sunrise isn’t until about 6.30 in mid April here in the UK. By the end April it’s 5.45am but Titanic sunk on the 14th so it wouldn’t really have been light by 6am. A bit of artistic license but I still loved the show.
@@budd2nd I had the same thought at first, but then I found out that Daylight Saving Time/British Summer Time was first used in Britain in 1916, so before then they didn't advance their clocks one hour for extra daylight in the summer evenings. That means that in Yorkshire on 15 April 1912, the sun would have risen possibly around 05:00 so it would be very light by 06:00 :)
Btw, being a piano player myself, I'm very much intrigued by the grand piano at 3:40-3:45. I'm looking for pictures of this grand piano in this particular scene. Anyone?
@@josephmarrison4606 ok, did you continue to watch the series or did your interest end there? I come from Southampton, over 540 people from there died.
