Hello: My mother was borm.in Beverly and lived on Kay Street or McKay St. My grandfather was a professional photographer by the name of George Snow who had his own studio in Beverly. I would love to find out where those streets are and find out more about George and where his studio was. I was born in Mass too but live in AZ now. Thanks for your video of Beverly it means alot.

Nice update on my home town of Beverly, got married in St Marys. Lived across from The old SHOE pond for decades. Bright and sunny days here in Mesa AZ .

Impressive quaint town 🏡Thanks for sharing, love the structure of the St. Mary's Church. The building where the YMCA is reminds me of a school, especially since it is so near to the church. Enjoy the nice weather.

I grew up in Beverly and remember the Church burning.... We could see it from Salters Point. My Cousin was to be married there that Summer but all that was left what the Steeple. Neighbors gathered what they could from what remained and another neighbor made pendants from the Pews and Stained glass and sold them to help raise money to rebuild. I have one of those pendants.

One of my ex girlfriends went to college in Beverly. She and I would drive down from Vermont once in awhile to visit with her friends from school etc. It always amazes me how towns in MA just merge into each other. Or how the speed limit says 55mph yet everyones doing 80+ and not even the cops care. Or how traffic can just be moving along nicely and then everyone slams on their brakes. Anyway, I really liked beverly a lot .

Ymca was built in 1910. President Taft was present at the cornerstone placement.

Maybe a comment about the history of the blue building on Cabot t(next to the laundramat) hat was a meat market in very early years, and has been a church for many years now, serving the down and out in the community.....:)
