As an Ohioan, I been to Columbus many of times. I find it funny that to me it’s another big city and it’s like the neighbor town to me.. but then you come across people who have never been here before and are just fascinated with the city and actually have a purpose to be there. Beautiful
Finally got to visit this city after watching, reading, and hearing so much about it. It was so much better in person that I could have imagined. What a city!!
@@fragilerovers Everything seemed so clean, vibrant, and energetic. Like it is a city reborn from the ashes of 08 and prior. Compared to where I live in Los Angeles, witnessing the rise of Columbus was very refreshing.
Columbus seems to me the quintessential abode of the average American, where every other place in the world is exotic. A nice place to be home and have a job and live an ordinary daily life in, and from which one goes on a vacation or adventure.
If a New Yorker walked through Columbus they would look around and wonder where the hell everybody is compared to Downtown New York. The population of Columbus is like a ghost town to the eyes of a New Yorker.
Shoot, I'm not a New Yorker, I live in Columbus, and every time I visit my friend in NYC and return back home, I'm like "Daaaaaaamn, this place is dead." 😂😂
I've lived in Columbus all my life and I've never been so disgusted by what's happened to our city. We used to have festivals and people were out bar hopping and shopping, going to concerts and sporting events... then came the pandemic followed by the 2020 riots. Columbus was given a $20 million dollar face lift due to all the damage at taxpayers' expense. It doesn't matter how many fake lifts they give it... when the people are angry, they aren't coming back. Our DEI hire mayor is a joke, he still can't keep our city safe. It's just a matter of time before it happens again.
Columbus isn't much to look at, but it works as a place to build a career, social life, and family. Believe it or not, downtown Columbus today is as busy as it has ever been since I moved here in 1999! Busier on nights and weekends than it ever used to be. It felt like a movie set after filming was done in the early 2000s. It was the form of a city without any function.
NO STOP DONT CONVINCE HIM!!! Keep this city lowkey as possible. Just let people think that its a boring shithole with nothing to offer PLEASE.!!@@rahimi4762
