Downtown Halifax is stunning, so much development in recent years. A number of ultra modern structures are incorporated into the earlier built history making the city look great! Old and new within a fascinating mix. All of the views of the downtown do not recognize the very many high rise buildings and modern communities that form the suburbs of this Atlantic Canadian City. Downtown Halifax is only part of the larger urban sprawl known as The Halifax Regional Municipality. It would be great for some to post/document the high rise forest that is growing around the urban core. Some buildings have a multi lane highway view while others still overlook water.
