Those are beautiful old houses, I’ve always wanted to live in an old house that has the nostalgic wall paper and ceiling fan with the 4 arms and a center globe light kit

Fred of Fred's barber shop cut my hair in the 70s. The other barber was Helmut Lenz. The shop then was named after Helmut.

I'm a frequent visitor of the place and my friend owns a home there. When I'm in the downtown area I always feel like I've traveled to Victorian England. Down on Market Square Court there used to be a butcher's shop, the best one I've ever been to, but they must have closed down because there's a construction permit and boarded up windows the last time I was there (July 2023) Edit: Actually, I was there the same day you were there.

I could go there soon.

Very familiar with Lake Forest, yeah most people who live there have a bunch of money, no one's passing through there on the lake either live there or you work there no one's passing through,

Last time I was there they had a Marshall Fields, the whole city was just a bunch of trees and gated off driveways to homes buried in trees

I was born at Lake Forest Hospital.

Good old days when I used to be a Limo driver, I took a lot of people to Deer Path Inn, mostly from pharmaceutical business... Great reminder!😊 You're really pounding the pavement!🫡
