My Grandpa on my mom's side grew up in Pawhuska and is buried in the Pawhuska Cemetery. Pawhuska has a great downtown and is located in the beautiful Osage Hills. One of the best towns in Oklahoma to visit.

I spent a lot of time in Pawhuska as a kid, visiting one of my mom’s sister s and her family. Dad and Uncle Horace would go to the Ben Johnson Steer Roping Rodeo. That has turned into Ben Johnson Days now. Love the Tall Brass Prairie and was fascinated by the Woolaroc Museum. As an adult I’ve camped at Osage Hills State Park many times.
This is where my people are, the Osage, some day when my travels are done , i will come back here, where i belong, to die, and be with my brave ancestors!🌍🌛🌕
Why would that be? Pleasant day, nice clean sidewalks. 😁 Hate any thing on my feet, or hands. Shockingly, I even had gloves on last week. Was a harrowing experience😁
