I don't if you are serious or not but I have lived in St. Petersburg sence 1956 and never herd anyone say St. Petersburg like you say it. We always call it St. Pete
I wouldn't give much credit to someone who says St. Pete wasn't named after a town in Russia, ignorantly calls out to a stranger "hey hipster guy" and said he doesn't like St. Pete. Hopefully his kid doesn't grow up to be as big of an arse.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS you are trying to pronounce it like the Russians pronounce their city of St Petersburg. You could say it is correct since we are named after their city but no one says it like the Russians unless you are Russian. We do have a Russian jeweler who is quite well known!

St. Petersburg Florida and the Tampa Bay Area, actually has a younger population then most US metro cities. The Tampa bay metro area is also younger on average then any California metro city, food for thought.
