What's funny is Trauma Ray was my favorite newly discovered band of 2023. I just randomly happened upon Downward on Jan 1st, 2024 and it's safe to say, already and maybe too soon, that this will be my favorite newly discovered band for the year.

So good, i absolutely love the bells in the 2nd verse, such a good touch. I can't wait for y'alls next ep or album. I've been dying to see y'all live. Y'all are one of my favorites.

The footage from above is from their last tour at Johnny Brenda's in Philly, I was standing right next to the photographer. They are amazing live and I hope to see them again soon. The bassist on that tour was Uri from Trauma Ray, a dream would be a co-headlining tour with Money supporting. Texas and Oklahoma have so many good bands where emo and shoegaze meet.
