once I was told that if I didn't stop sweating cause I was winning duels against someone they were gonna find my house, rape my sister, and kill me in my sleep.
ur complaining about basic pvp techniques that are either just straight disadvantages vs any good player or just easy asf to counter lol sprint resetting is just dealing more kb and manipulating movement, idk anybody who didnt know abt that shit in 2017 jump resetting is literally a disadvantage vs any good player who knows how to counter it and does not reduce kb in the way minemanner claims it does, it is simply a way of manipulating trading hitsequence, but there are better and less riskier ways of doing it its arguably easier to play with low cps than high cps if you have any idea on how to manipulate knockback in trades hit selecting is just a trading technique that ptb dante invented in 2016 that can be countered like 10 different ways, most ppl dont know why hitselecting works or how to counter since it was popularized in the general pvp comm by hypixel players and shit
copy pasted luzis ping explanation as well: ping affects both parties the way. your ms/ the opponents ms alone does not decide the visual delay (time between you performing an action like hitting someone and you getting the visual feedback that the hit was registered). you have to combine both ms to get the cummulative ms (for example 80ms vs 20ms = 100 ms/ 5 ticks -> visual delay is 100 ms). In this scenario (80 ms vs 20 ms) the person with 80 ms does not get his hits registered later than the 20 ms person because it takes the same time for both parties (100 ms). high visual delay does change the game fundamentally in terms of how trades will be played out because it does the determine when the first hit in the trade is registered (example: player 1 hits when hes 3 blocks away to player 2 with both running straight into each other (around 8 blocks/second *2 (both of them running into each other) -> 16 blocks/ second =0,8 blocks/tick (they run into each other at that speed) and with a visual delay of 5 ticks/100 ms the players will have already moved 4 blocks into each other completely changing the hitsequence (when hits are placed during a trade). This is also why it looks like you are very close to the opponent on your screen when combing someone if the cummulative ms is high. So it does fundamentally change the game but gives neither a direct advantage or disadvantage because it affects both parties the same. you can feel a subjective bias to playing very low ms for an example tho because if you have low ms the cummulative ms will always be relatively low (depending on who you are fighting) so you might be used to low visual delay whilst the other player is not giving you an advantage in that regard (as i said it changes how the game works/how you have to play it to win so if you are not used to low cummulative ms your timing will be off)
in addition most actually good players who understand the game only play like once every 2 months cause you dont need to play 1000 hours to understand and apply mc mechanics
@@HypMage I can argue with that as about 80% of cheaters I met were actually pretty toxic and selfish. Maybe it's because we're talking about different communities as I'm speaking not just about Minecraft cheaters but cheaters in general
@@SSSHalt I’m talking mainly about Minecraft cheaters. They are usually pretty chill, speaking from experience we don’t want to (or at least I) don’t want to be toxic after cheating on someone. It’s like adding insult to injury.
well butterfly clicking, w tapping, hit selecting etc... it's not unfair advantages or cheats it takes a lot of practice to master and it's very hard to do (and yes not every mouse can double click but even if u have a mouse that can double click it's hard to master butterfly clicking so u can do 20+cps) so just because some people spends hundreds of hours to master these skills that doesn't mean they are toxic or that they have an unfair advantage
u can use low cps as an arguably bigger advantage than high cps if yk how, hit selecting is easy asf to counter since 99.9% of people dont even know why it works or how to trade properly, and jump resetting is just a straight disadvantage if ur fighting anybody who knows shit abt what they doing u dont need to play 1000 hours to get good at mc, most of the actual good players in the game (dante, bacho, vyko, luzis etc) play like once every 2 months
@@realgog high cps results in a movement slowdown but less knocback being taken, however if you manipulate your movement and the hitsequence correctly in a trade then it will directly result in you taking less knockback and dealing more due to the increased momentum
@danwy hcf comm was the wildest most toxic place in the game LMAO. its like u killed a kid and got him deathbanned for 16hrs and cus of that got doxxed, swatted and had your friends and family harassed for the next 6 months. it was on a diff level
Got some criticism about the last part: Butterfly clicking is not controversial. It is a pretty balanced mechanic that you can do with about any mouse. Some give more and some give less cps, but you can compare that to having a good pc or having a bad pc. If you’re able to afford a laptop that runs Minecraft and the game itself, and you are really competitive about it, you’ll be able to afford a mouse that supports butterfly. Same for drag clicking, where the mice themselves are mostly even cheaper. Those „cringe mechanics“ you mentioned exist everywhere in the gaming community and not just minecraft, the difference is that the mechanics themselves are different. This is not different to counter strafing in cs which you mentioned, or bhop (referring to the mechanic in cs here). There’s also a lot more stuff in Valorant to nerd out about when new agents come out. Especially in minecraft, there have been far more competitive times than now. If you compare old hg/uhc/rushBW/cwbw to the competitive scene now, you realize that it used to be far more sweaty back then. Of course, the skill of the best players has always risen and there are more and more mechanics, but I realize a lot of players who used to be competitive a lot in those times, can catch up very quickly to new mechanics.
Only 730 subscribers?? wtf haha this vid is quality... love the authenticity, not many people stay true to themselves but in the long run it'll catch up to you bro. that 100k sub count is just around the corner.
9:10 'give players a challenge', played minecraft competitively and "it got boring" AKA he couldn't get to the point he wanted to lmao, the cope is off the charts 😭😭
as the person that was interviewed. i played for years and got way past the point i aimed for. I still do play legit more often than i do cheat and still perform well, but instead of spending all the time grinding stats which did get boring as the game was repetitive i moved to cheating for FKDR grinding or just mind numbing blatant'ing while in vc's I can admit people are better than me but there isnt cope. minecraft gets boring and thats why I dont main it anymore.
@@WompClient in my opinion, if you think the game is so boring you have to ruin the experience for players, just don't play at all. move to a different aspect of the game, it doesn't matter, but even if you don't really want to, and it's not your motives, you still are ruining newer players' experiences. you might even be the cause of more experienced players to quit the game
@@realgog I did move to other aspects for a while and still got bored over time And I’m not gonna lie hypixel is so full with cheaters no matter what I did someone was gonna be hopped on I didn’t really change anything in that area Eventually it’ll be the same I’ll cheat get bored and quit
Its unbelievable how true this is. When I was 8-10 years old, I played a lot of video games. Eventually, I chose Minecraft as my main game. From hypixel, CPvP (tierlist in general ig), to smps, to 2b2t. It's just crazy. Saying things (eg. racism, and other horrible shit) for shock value just doesn't even work on most Minecraft communities. It's just normal at this point
Back in the kohi and HCTeams days (OGs will know) doxing and DDOS was incredibly common and normalized. The farthest I've seen the toxicity go is toxic faction leaders (sometimes young adults) doing cruel hazing ritual to literal children by encouraging them to expose themselves or self humiliation to be granted a spot in a faction. (They usually got kicked and killed)
Finally someone made a video about the minecraft community. A lot of videos about the com are from a outsider's perspective and they really don't know what actually happens im really happy that someone finally made a video about this com
@@disselpower7136 Yea i commented it half way trough the video he could say more abt the "High skill community" if he interviewed more like high skill players then it would be a perfect video
good video but theres a couple corrections i want to make -on paper winstreaking in gamemodes like duels/bedwars seem impossible, but with stat mods and dodging avoiding snipers has become easier than ever. ive gotten 3 legitimate 2000 duels winstreaks and a 670 bedwars winstreak because detecting snipers is easier than ever before -at the end you mentioned a lot of methods that are "cringe" that people use to gain an advantage, but minecraft is the biggest game ever made. theres inevitably going to be a community where people try to become better than everyone else which is why people have drastically improved over the past years. its inevitable in any major game. its to the same effect of calling esports players cringe for using different movement strategies in CS
You said everything I wanted to say to the general public inside me, literally the most toxic community I've been through since I started playing the game from 2014 until now, I've been through all kinds of problems as it's now evolving into the bedrock community.
i dont think people realize that the twitter "hacker" literally was just the typical hcf player LMAOO dossing doxxing scamming and cybercrime is literally just a daily occurence like
I am so glad I left the pvp community. One thing was that I got bored of it and moved on and also the fact that you have to break your hand to win a single game. It's funny to see kids mald in chat over a boxing match loss
Nice video but I don't agree on what do you consider "toxic" strategies. I think that Minecraft pvp is completely balanced (if we don't talk about Hypixel 🤡) and the fact that it's "complex" makes it beautiful, and it's not just about learning how to hit select or jump reset (it doesn't work), but knowing every mechanic in depth, like how to alterate the hit sequence making you win every trade no matter the ping difference between you and your oppoment, getting perfect tracking/stying, spacing, pot spacing and more. I would consider cringe ways of playing this game like spamming blocks and shears, camping with fireballs, building to the fuck1ng sky, things that happens in every game of hypixel bedwars, strategies who requires 0 skills and just makes peaple waste time.
Hey man, great video, I agree with everything up until the double click with Razer's keyboard comparison with cs. I've been in the CS movement community for years. You don't need a razer keyboard to do that. You can just set up null binds. Why does no one do this beside people doing kz or long jumps? Because it's notoriously bad in competition. Null binds can cause bad counter strafes, and most of the time you end up moving while shooting which is not ideal. In long jumping however, it can drastically increase performance. You get zero over lap and better sync. That's why there are different leader boards for nulls. I however think in comp or faceit it's far from cheating, you actually end up limiting yourself. -a guy who uses nulls
I agree with a lot of the stuff you said here, but hit-selecting is not really a bad tactic imo. It happens a LOT, it has just become a normal strategy in 1.7/1.8
Minecraft has one of the most toxic communities I’ve actually ever seen. Its crazy a lot of people don’t know or didn’t know what has gone on, especially during the OLD HCF days. People were getting swatted and shit. That was BADDD!
The online world has become a nightmare everywhere Edit: I have always been scared of hackers. Now yes My name online is Glitch Master but I am only Called Glitch Master because I did Glitches in Jak and Daxter games back in the PS2 eras. But this hacking and doing stuff is at the next level. I'm not alarmed because the world is shifting but, holy shit this is scary as hell.
This is a really important reminder to keep your privacy and watch what you say online. Unrelated but god damn there are some beautiful texture packs in this video.
"minemen, which has one of the best anticheats in the entire minecraft" my man didn't play enough minemen and watched the ranked situation there for that statement... but yeah, the minecraft pvp situation has been one of the worst i've ever seen, and i'm genuinely, GENUINELY glad that somebody finally adressed it because it's such an obvious problem that everyone faces, yet nobody talks about...
i play fireball fight alot and I'm not toxic, but it's just sad to see that some people have super big egos. One time I beat this known player then he proceeded to be toxic in my dms for minutes straight, and they were also on 60 winstreak. I have lost winstreaks in the past due to something stupid, but at least I don't complain
Very good video, I’m glad more people are talking about this. I have seen so many toxic things, some really fucked up stuff that permanently impacted people’s lives. It’s just sad what happened to a game that’s supposed to be fun. The only part I disagree with is adding hit selecting and jump resetting to the annoying part, since using both of these actually imo make it easier to fight high cps. Every game requires a high skill level to be on the leaderboards, and not having just to think about aiming and clicking makes sense. The problem is how many cheaters there are in ranked and some playstyles like running ect.
3:25 “many players migrate to minemen which probably has one of the best anti cheats” LMAOOO no it does not. They don’t even have scaffold checks on minemen.
Not to mention the extreme level of toxicity in modern Minecraft PVP not 1.8 for the extreme level of toxicity at the top level and the level of abuse that some players are willing to subject. Other to is crazy.
i mean... the people putting years of their life into pvp and losing it all is a good thing cuz it will open your eyes on what you could've done irl during those years LOL
Honestly this sounds like someone unwilling to come to terms with the fact that there are skilled players that are just that, skilled. "cringe" ways to play don't exist. You just can't play at their skill level, which is fine, but calling it toxicity is coping.
Minemen's agc used to be a great anti-cheat, but now it's terrible. I'd say even worse than Hypixel's watchdog at times. Nowadays it's trivially easy to bypass killaura, scaffold, etc. and movement bypasses aren't that hard to find either. Hypixel does actually keep getting better, though very slowly. For example, reach is patched, and people are forced to use more modern cheats such as Backtrack, which effectively replace reach, but are less OP.
