Yes, most doctors are quite ignorant with respect to Lyme disease. I have had doctors in Canada refuse to even test unless you have a bulls eye rash. We should really hold our physicians to a much higher standard of care.

I was bit by a tick in May in CT -- it was so early I didn't spray Off on my socks and pants then a natural bug repellent from the waist up. I pulled it out and sent it to a lab for testing. It came back positive for Human Anaplasma Phagocytophilum (Human Granulocytic Anaplasmosis; HGA). I had the symptoms for Anaplasmosis (acute nausea, headache, mild fever) that showed up two weeks later so I'm taking 100mg twice a day for 10 days, as recommended. They say you cannot get infected unless the tick is attached for 24 hrs. or until it falls off. I calculated from the time I entered the woods, 6:00p.m., to 7:00a.m. the next morning when I removed it and that's only 13 hrs.

Sir can you tell me why I am still so sick and debilitated and so are thousands and thousands of my friends? ? Im still very ill and want my life back. Can you make a video on what happens when a person is not treated properly and its too late then what? What do we do?

Try telling someone with Lyme NOT to go lay down for a hr or two lol I’m lucky to be up a hr a day total! So I take my doxy layers in bed but will try to sit up for now on! Thanks doc

I was taken by ambulance to the er after having a fever of 101 to 103.5 for 19 days straight. I was sick as a dog. I actually thought I was dying! The er doctor was amazing. Nice and tested me for a lot. The next day he called me to tell me that I had a positive result for lyme disease and gave me this medicine. Didn't cure me as my lovely tick friend had visited me 6 years before. But it does do an amazing job of helping me when the hellish nightmare lyme disease symptoms begin to flare up.

It worked for me while I was in treatment (6months) I felt absolutely great!, It reduced my inflammation to normal levels, however it made me terribly nauseous and gave me loss of appetite.... after the treatment my symptoms returned : ( I might need a longer treatment, the doctor did mentioned the re-occurrence...

I get bad migraines with doxycycline. its greater spinal fluid pressure or something and they don't know how it is caused by doxycline. medicine is in its infancy. actually, other practices like Chinese herbal is thousands of years old and modern medicine is about 200. lol
