I think it's because they are the rare group that shows more of them being themselves, instead of keeping or putting on such images as most groups do. So it makes us feel comfortable watching them. They show us that they are not just idols, but they are humans too. The fact that they just go out and interact with fans casually can make us see how they really are. They do many things that normally idols don't and can't do like going in the crowd of people in NYC doing RDP, treating fans like one of their friends, making RU-vid accounts, video themselves, etc. They are that rare group that makes us feel like we are connected to them instead of feeling far from them. We are really lucky knowing this kind of group and this group of people in our lives :)
