Am I the only one that has noticed the parts in the interview where Jennifer gets really emotional? It's just insane how real she is during interviews, the part where she almost spills the beans about her anxiety gave me chills.
It blows me away how mature her answers to these questions are. I see so many other interviews with her where she's hilarious and witty with her answers but then I see this and a couple others where she just so intelligently responds to the questions asked. She's so incredible with how she carries herself and how her mind works and views the world around her. She's my idol.
rihanna navy This makes me sad. I hope you really didn't mean literally. Your favorite person is someone you only know exteriorly and who doesn't even know you?
Jennifer Lawrence is so talented. She really is a gifted actress. Her performance in Silver Linings Playbook is genious. Her comedic talent, wit and razor-sharp awareness set the screen on fire. She has so much energy and one of the best charismas of movie actors and she is capable of avoiding any cliches and makes a moving, smart performance. She loses herself into that character. Brilliant.
Perhaps you're too young to remember Kate Hepburn, Bette Davis, Glenn Close, Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon, Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Tilda Swinton, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich, and Tallulah Bankhead, et. al. These actresses were/are all bright, witty, fiercely independent, and, I imagine. very quotable.
Bruce Bethany...what sets JLaw apart is she's as naturally funny as Fanny Brice in a very real lovable way, but also very much like Meryl since The Deer Hunter...this "combination" hasn't been duplicated.
Jennifer Lawrence is such a different kind of celebrity, my whole life I thought I looked up to different celebrities like Britney Spears (before her breakdown), Miley Cyrus (when she was still on Disney), etc.,etc., but as I got older I realized that they weren't really role models and the only reason I looked up to them was for their fame. Jennifer Lawrence is honestly one of the kindest, most down to Earth people I have ever seen in show business. I'm only 16, but she is someone I can look up to (hopefully) for the rest of my life. I have a feeling that she will always be this way, and she won't turn into something that you often see young celebrities turn into. I hope that she will be an Audrey Hepburn, not a Justin Bieber.
I'm not saying anything is wrong with him, I'm just saying I hope she doesn't go down the wrong path (which I know she won't) and won't be in trouble with law, and won't be seen by the public as someone who went downhill because oh her fame.
***** Yes, and if you're going to comment on me being young: please don't. I can't change the fact that people who are famous currently are not the best influences. I'm just happy that Jennifer Lawrence is someone I am able to look up to. I also stated in the comment that I am 16.
That's why I'm saying I prefer Jennifer Lawrence over all of these other actors and actresses. Apart from her being a great person, she's also a great actress (in my opinion)
People said SLP was funny. I laughed a few times, but to call it a comedy is just....It was, like she said, more heartwarming and comforting than funny. I have no idea whatsoever how people think its a funny movie.
SauceBoss127 She doesn't say it's more heartwarming than it is funny. She just says that she had realized it was funny before but she hadn't realized how heartwarming it was.
Got to love Jennifer Lawrence for her modesty, cheerfulness, acting, sense of humor and much more...I'm really happy for her success and I know that she will only be going up from here
I have a weird relationship with Jennifer Lawrence. I adore her, but I'm a little annoyed by her. I see some of myself in her, but I'm jealous of her. With that said, it's great to watch such a mellow interview with her. You can tell she's being genuine and not just saying what she thinks people want to hear. Big kudos to the interviewer, whose name escapes me, for setting such a laid back, natural vibe.
When a movie with Lawrence is in is coming out I can never distinguish whether I'm more excited for the interviews/press coverage or the actual movie. When I saw how long this was I did a fist pump and shouted YES before I could stop myself. Not obsessed at all...
I have nothing but praise for her! I'm no longer worried that Hollywood will change her because she's proven that that wud be impossible!!!!! Go Jen go
She's lovely. Her laugh is one of her best characteristics in my opinion.. Totally her because it isn't a girly titter which would be far more annoying
There she goes, making me sad again...when she talks about not liking living in L.A. and how fame makes people treat her weirdly...I want to hug her...
Shes so beautiful inside and out. Love the part where she said "actors are not special." She is just doing what she loves and the fame comes with it yet she remains humble. Shes so honest and talented. Love her.
I saw her in Like Crazy last night and really liked her. She only played a small role in that movie but it was enough for me to know there was something different about her.
Jennifer Lawrence is soo funny and in large part bc she's so humble. I can't wait to see this movie AND the second Hunger Games! She deserves all the best!
This YOUNG woman is soooo poised, so talented, so gracious, so humorous, so self-deprecating. She is the ultimate woman. I am 56 and still so smitten with this 22 yr old.
i don't know if... actually yes, the interviewer makes me want to scratch my damn eyes out! his voice, his redundancy which seems almost desperate kills me! Bottom line she is amazing, of course. she is real and raw and totally lovable. I just can't stand this interviewer.
i'm so glad that she asks what a question means if she doesn't understand it instead of going around the question....you're so badass jennifer lawrence
Watching these older videos of her you kind of appreciate how good she looks now. She doesn't look ugly here but she's slimmer now, especially in her face.
She is, simply put, one of a kind. Such a staggering talent, such a lovely personality, and such singular beauty. The odds of all these qualities converging in one person are impossibly remote. Yet here she is, a wonder to behold.
***** Oh, she definitely could teach me a thing or two if you know what I mean (if you've seen those pics then you know why people are talking mostly about her).
