Ed Harris and Amy Madigan have been married and acting together for 36 years. They both have Oscar nominations. She is probably most famous for Field of Dreams. He has been in a ton of huge movies. They sat for an interview with David Poland about a movie then called What Is Wrong With Virginia?, which was Dustin Lance Black's opportunity to direct after he won the Oscar for Milk.

In 1986 I met them both in a parking lot in San Francisco after they co-starred in a play. They wanted feedback and were so friendly, that I never forgot it.

Places in the Heart is a great movie and I love the characters they played. I did a seach for any interviews with these two! It must be tough to go thru so many interviews when you're promoting a project. Some people just aren't comfortable doing interviews in the first place. Amy is a natural in this interview! Ed doesn't seem as comfortable, but I love hearing his perspective on the work for this film.

I think this couple they are absolutely amazing I watched Amy in the movie with John Candy Uncle Buck and I fell in love with her she is the sweetest person and I love her husband too … i’m just so happy for them being together for all those years and I wish them all the best a wonderful couple ❤️🌈😍

Loved Amy since I saw Uncle Buck in the mid 90s and she seems like a cool person (plus beautiful) irl too. It's like seeing Chanise in 2010 lol

(Haven't watched the interview yet, but:) I actually saw this movie years ago, I think it had already been retitled Virginia then. Don't remember it very well aside from that it was filled with a lot of... stuff. If I may ask, why did you decide to upload this now? Was it deleted or originally hosted somewhere else?
