The Tasmanian Transport Museum's DP railcars 15 & 26 work in multiple for the first time in many years at the B.R.M.A. Model Railway expo, 8th August 2015. The scene is reminiscent of TGR suburban train services where multiple railcars (DP+DP, DP+PT, DP+PT+DP, or DP+PT+PT+DP) often ran to Risdon, Cadburys, Bridgewater, or New Norfolk.
DP 15 (153hp, Waddingtons, 1939) is wearing its original TGR green+cream livery whilst articulated DP 26 (153hp, Commonwealth Engineering, 1950) is wearing the TGR blood+custard livery later adopted to all railcars and carriages. The TTMS is presently restoring railcar trailer PT 4 to its original Green+Cream livery; once complete the Museum will have a fully operational railcar set consisting of DP+PT+DP units.
