yeah he skipped some but maybe he didn't feel comfortable sharing at the time of maybe they aren't abstract like just a pretty horse. we'll find out if he wants us to someday❤

I think most of the time we're told we have to forget the pain and let it go but the truth is accepting it and seeing how far you've come and being to look back in moments where you need to remind yourself of your worth is much more meaningful..so thank you Dpr Ian for your artistry and reminding us that there is beauty in the pain too..and Your tattoos are fireee

it really hurts seeing it on all over his body and some even have stitches. I wish he would stop self-harming but I'd believe he has no control over it.

Christian's one-odd-eyed raven tattoo is incredibly beautiful like look at those stunning wings!!! it's my favorite i love it it's so stunning to me, and i think it fits Ian so well

Everything in this man is pure ART. I was hoping in a tattoos tour from him because I was really curious about the meaning behind them since he always said none was done casually! Thank you GQ Taiwan for such an interesting interview and, obviously, thanks to Ian for always sharing a lot of personal infos about himself with all of us, I love when I get the chance to know him better as an artist and as a person ❤

Thank you so much for this! I have always wondered about the stories behind Christian's tattoos. I love listening to him express his thoughts because he's always sophisticated and he likes to give a certain depth to things that most overlook. I love how he gives so much meaning to his life lessons just like how he puts into the words the emotions we don't know how to express. This man is making history giving more mental awareness in this world through his music and art. I love him and will never regret knowing about him.
