ian explained some parts on live but mito speaking in the beginning warning ian about the hybrid because mito was once his successor and mito learned about him truly and was banished aka a fallen angel so he was trying to warn ian because the hybrid needs a vessel to get out of the other side or to complete these tasks for him so he wants to basically use ian and mito keeps popping out (the black smoke) because he knows this is not a good idea and he wants to keep ian from doing any of that

I went back to rewatch the live because I definitely missed a lot of what he said 😂 I’m still a bit confused as to how Insanity fits into all of this 🤔 I also was reading about someone’s theory that the messenger the hybrid sent to manipulate Ian might be The Green. Which makes total sense. Poor Mito trying so hard to save/protect Ian 😭 he really is so misunderstood

@@ToniReacts lol ngl saint mv just confused everyone's theories it just added more and changed the theories completely so we don't truly know yet😭 insanity is supposed to be the clown god that created the other side and mito but now we have the hybrid that is some ancient entity in the void that mito was once with before he got banished 😵‍💫 and yeah i saw that theory too it makes sense tho🧐 poor mito can't catch a break fr

⁠⁠@@Kk4260where does the clown god come in?? I totally missed that 😭 I’m glad I’m not the only one with so many questions 😂 All I know is I’m rooting for Mito and maybe we’ll get more answers with the hybrid album 😂

The song and MV are stellar as always! He never disappoints. In regards to your theories, he acknowledged in the IG live he did after releasing the MV, that it wasn't meant to clarify things but bring up more questions that will be answered in the Hybrid album. Here's what he said about the story and symbols: "The Hybrid is an ancient god, ... almost like the ruler of the Otherside.. but kinda like an uninvited God that takes over... The Hybrid is essentially made up of the 8 phases of the moon. But the 8 phases of the moon as we know it are phases of one moon. In this world, the 8 phases of the moon are separate moons. So we have 8 moons in the world of the Otherside. The Hybrid joins all of these 8 moons and he turns into an eclipse. The eclipse is seen as the coming of Insanity... but also it imposes the Hybrid. Now, the Hybrid uses Ian as a puppet. It's a god that has an agenda and it imposes his or hers - don't know - powers to generally create a messenger. And hence the reason Ian turns into Insanity." So essentially the Hybrid wants to be set free and manipulates Ian to get the 8 keys through quests like with the sword and unlock the power of the 8 moons to merge them into the eclipse, which is why the clock is there to help him stay on time. Mito wants to stop all this because he knows Hybrid from before and might have been his previous puppet.

I watched the live half asleep so I had to go back and watch it again 😂 I definitely missed half of what he said 😅 Okay yes I understand now the 8 moons and the phases and the eclipse and also the 8 keys that he is manipulating Ian to find. I was reading someone’s theory on the “messenger” and that it might be The Green 👀 he’s always by Ian’s side and has become somewhat of a companion but maybe we shouldn’t trust him so easily. Because he’s also the one that has kind of spearheaded Ian trying to find the keys. I also think that might have been The Green at the end of the saint mv before he became The Green 🤨 it’s been interesting reading some theories and a lot of people make sense with that they’re saying! I’ll anxiously await the release of the hybrid album for more answers 😂 I definitely agree that Mito was the previous puppet and that attempt failed because Mito caught on and now is trying to warn/protect Ian.

Oh also at the beginning the speaking parts it sounds like Mito. But at the same time if you listen to the speaking parts it’s different from Mito. So my theory is that’s the hybrid speaking to us. But again not so sure.

In yesterday's live, Ian said we still haven't seen or heard the Hybrid. Though the amultiple voices in the head are also from the Hybrid. So that is confusing.

@@annemariestrehl but doesn’t the hybrid have blue eyes? And he had blue eyes in the beginning of saint. So wouldn’t that mean we kind of did get a glimpse of the hybrid?

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for the shout out in your other video! Once the Hybrid album comes out and we (probably) have more answers I will include all of what he has said so far about The Hybrid in another updated version of the essay/guide. Thank you again for reading it!

I love listening to your theory. Now that you said about Mito and the sword I have not heard that theory but to me it makes sense. And Mito is a fallen being. I think a fallen angel but not so sure. Like the hybrid I am so confused. I have heard not sure of this but it makes sense to me that the hybrid is Mito and sanity together put into one. I know Mito and insanity is two alter personalities that Ian has with his DID. So with the hybrid being something that’s made up of the two of them? Does that mean the hybrid is a third personality. Or IS Ian the hybrid. Since he is the host of Mito and insanity. That is my theory. To me it makes sense that Ian would be the hybrid himself since the hybrid is the two combined. Or like I said is the hybrid a third personality in Ian. But Ian being the hybrid just makes so much sense to me. Yes he did say only a handful of people I think six know the name of the hybrid. He won’t tell us yet. I don’t know if he will tell us when the album is released next year after the tour he’s going on or if he’s just going to keep us guessing for awhile haha. I love the theory. Ian is amazing. I love the lyrics to his songs. But I think for his I don’t want to say story because I feel Ian is actually really living it. This is his reality. What he lives with and he’s showing us. But I feel his mvs are so much more important than the lyrics. The mvs give us the visual of what he goes through. The lyrics give us the feeling of what he goes through. So I guess they go hand in hand. I can’t wait to see more from him.

Mito is depicted as a fallen angel in many videos. He literally falls out of the sky in Seraph being banned after battling Insanity, whic turns into the white clown god that is now blind

I literally had to go re-watch the IG live from yesterday morning to get a better understanding 😂 cuz I know Ian doesn’t want to spoil everything, he’s just kind of giving clues here and there to help us figure it out. There was one theory I was reading about how the hybrid is an ancient god that took control over the other side and was looking for a successor. That successor was Mito, but Mito didn’t fall for his tricks (I think this is when Mito becomes a fallen angel) and locked away the hybrid in the void on the other side (I’m thinking along with the sword since the sword is significant and holds a lot of power so Mito definitely doesn’t want the hybrid getting the sword). Now a piece of the hybrid is with Mito. Ian also mentioned a piece of the hybrid being in Mr insanity as well (but I’m not sure how that piece ended up there). The hybrid somehow managed to contact Ian in attempts to get Ian to free him from the void and return his sword but Mito is trying to prevent Ian from doing that because he knows what the hybrid is all about. Mito also warned Mr insanity in famous last words what the hybrid was trying to attempt. In order for Ian to free the hybrid he has to collect the 8 keys. I think this theory makes a lot of sense and adds up to what Ian was talking about in his live. There’s a lot more to it that I’m not fully understanding/catching up on though 😂 I’m just having fun reading all the theories and trying to piece it all together lmao

@@ToniReacts so I think it was and just my theory I think that’s when sanity and Mito may have been becoming one in this mv but also through the story of the mvs I think and my theory is Mito wants to get rid of sanity and I think sanity is the creator of Mito. Just my thought and Mito is Ian protector. When something happens to Ian Mito appears. And sanity is very reckless when it comes to Ian so Mito wants to get rid of sanity. That’s just my theory.
