There is internet as well as the intranet they have. It is just insanely expensive to access the internet there (cost about $85 USD for an hour of wifi) but when you're the more vulnerable country in a literal war, part of keeping the social structure of the populace unified means both blocking counter-revolutionary content and blocking access from outsiders spreading information that could range from accurate or entirely insane and inaccurate. Hence why the legal right to travel changes from decade to decade. Without these restrictions, until US interference and hostility legitimately ends, this must continue.

There is no religion all religious documents and books are banned that church is only for show its to fool tourists, westerners, and foreigners and to making them think that they have freedom of religion all those attending the church services there are paid actors. It's all for show and even says on the Immigration Form coming into North Korea that religious books are banned it's asking you if you are bringing with you any religious books such as the Bible or a Quran

Don't let deceive yourself. This is a fake church for tourists in order to pretend that there is free worship.
