Despite that Rev. Eastwood recanted and clarified his position, still he was wrong to downplay what Christ has done, born again as well as appealing to something outside the word of God. What he said, he said it. There are those who maybe confused even now thus, it is good we clarify it to help the weak. NOTE: It is not Dr. Damina responding to him, this is ME putting these clips from past sermons to help those who may have been troubled by such statements.
The caption and edit of this video is very misleading. Put the entire sermon of Eastwood Anaba up. And how is Duncan Williams making peace with his neighbors downplaying Christ? U need to really renew ur thinking.
I love DR.Abel Damina because he teaches sound doctrine. He endorses the truth that is in us as children of God. We are born of the Spirit of God, and his Spirit testify with our spirit that we are his children. We hear the truth because we are of the truth. We are his voice because we are his sheep. Glory be to God!!!
The same person who teaches that you are the Holy Spirit, the creation story never happened but is only figurative, communion is a waste of time etc etc? He has some things right, yes. But he also has a lot of false doctrine. His doctrine is not always sound

Dr. Abel Damina has made me believe that I can get to the point Apostle Paul got to in faith. My faith is growing rapidly every day. Now that I have come out of the wrong doctrines I have heard growing up, I need to press and run fast and forward to meet up in order to become Mature in the faith of Christ Jesus I have received.

Don’t you guys see that these are three unrelated parts? Pastor Eastwood was taken out of context. ArchBishop Duncan was overwhelmed by social needs for peace. But Dr Damina didn’t also attack Rev Eastwood or Bishop Duncan directly. We shouldn’t try to create what was not there.
They must not be on the same table B4 you know they are on same context. 40 men where inspired to write the scripture and it full on same context. So minister should return to the same context of the Bible. Any thing you say or teach that is not biblical is trash.

Well Spoken. My problem is people ignorantly type anything without searching for the full message. A preacher is making reference of how Christians have become lazy and how other religious bodies are growing in faith and commitment. You cut a small portion of it to make news. Being Born Again does not end at 'believing in our heart and confession with our mouth'. Christians have stop bible studies, personal prayers, fasting and doing the work of Christ. Heaven according to the Bible is also called THE THIRD HEAVEN according to scriptures. Its a location even though its not physical. Yes the Kingdom of God is supposed to be in the heart of men but the Kingdom of God is SIMPLY THE RULERSHIP OF GOD and this is even in heaven, on Earth, all the Universe, ie anything God has created.

@@michealdarko4822 Well, you're not wrong. But this was a fundamental issue: salvation. Peter's denying of Christ and withdrawing from eating with the uncircumcised were more of hypocrisy and fear. His sermon was alluding that Christ is not the only way to God. That is heresy!

2. Pastor Eastwood Anaba. I perceived that in our generation, so many Christians don't know the Word. They don't study the Word. talk less of reasoning with the scriptures. They have developed itchy ears, as the Bible says- desiring to hear only that which pleases them. Many of us didn't grasp the point the Pastor was making. I also have to admit, the Pastor didn't explain his point in such a way that'll eliminate any ambiguity or room for misinterpretation. THIS IS WHAT THE PASTOR WAS SAYING. 1. To start with, salvation doesn't come by confessing Christ alone, if so demons will gain entrance to heaven for the scriptures states that they not only confess Christ but also shudder with great trepidation because they've seen him in His glory. Salvation comes by CONFESSING Christ and OBEYING Christ AND HIS WORD! 2. The Pastor wasn't playing down the finished work of Christ. He presented his case without supporting his thesis with the scriptures that actually support what He's saying. He spoke as one who's appealing rather than speaking authoritatively. The commitment, devotion and sacrifice of a devout muslim is enviable when compared to the way of life of so called Christians today! What he was saying as an appeal to God, i will say affirmatively according to the scriptures. It leads to this question- Will a non Christian make Heaven according to the scriptures, the answer is YES. Before you crucify me, let me explain myself in my last response to this debacle!

Dr. Damina, please don't fail to incorporate the repentance element in the route to achieve salvation. Preachers don't emphasize that enough. Rather, they give the impression of 'joining church and behaving like church people' and that's the reason our churches are full of people who don't have any idea what it means to be born again. To become a member of The body of Christ, one must Repent toward God, believe in Jesus in other to appropriate his work of Redemption, and get Baptised in water,and finally Receive holy spirit baptism.
The Gospel is either you want to hit it or stay on the side , Dr Damila is fully ready to hit it in regardless to who like it or not. But he is raising another generation. Why? I just viewed this video clip and I'd give 3 responses to it. First Rev Duncan Williams. Before you arrive at righteous judgment, one has to know what really happened. What did the Rev initially say that warranted him to apologise? Without knowing this, you'll be judging him out of context. The actions of the Reverend suggest he's seeking peace which the Bible admonishes us to not only seek and pursue but to manifest in speech and in deed. God doesn't judge actions alone, he considers the motive and intent behind it. This Reverend is knowledgeable and knows that there's only one God and his Son Jesus Christ. So the question we should be asking ourselves is why did he utter that prayer '"In the name of Allah"......? What was his motive? Apostle Paul preached against circumcision in the flesh after an individual has accepted Christ but when instructed Timothy to circumcise himself so as to be acceptable to the Jews and remove any stumbling block from preaching the gospel of Christ amongst his fellow countrymen (Acts.16:3). His reason was justifiable before God. Lets not be "BABES IN REASONING" which many Christians are today but be mature- not being quick to judge but quick to listen as the scriptures stipulates (Jam.1:19). The mature don't judge by what they see or hear, they judge by righteous judgement.(John.7:24) Righteous judgement includes understanding the motive, and the intent which a thing was said and done, understanding the context and understanding why a thing was said and done. Then and only then will you arrive at righteous judgement and emulate Jesus and His father who art in Heaven.

Ps Abel didn't say that when you confess Jesus that is all you can leave any live. Christ centered word constantly wash us. But other preachers will preacher, demonology, curses, power of Satan etc how can the born again be grounded. Ps Abel is Paul reborn.
