Dr Briana Jackson, Egyptologist & Archaeogamer 

Briana Jackson holds a PhD in Egyptian art and archaeology from New York University. Her Egyptological research interests focus on Amarna Period art and religion, and international relations during the New Kingdom. She also incorporates archaeogaming into her research, examining state development and power systems in city-building video games. She has taught several courses on Egyptian art, and Roman history, and art history throughout New York, and is the inaugural Digital Humanities research fellow at the American Research Center in Egypt.
