I’m so happy you made this video! Girl I recently started using the pitcher method after you told me about it and it’s been a breeze! It’s soooo satisfying to see all of the milk you made in one day lol
Yes I love it. Like I did that. 😃😃 Haha 🤣 Baby Girl got milk for days. Glad it’s working for you too. I see your boy got lots of milk too 🥳 #GoPumpingMoms
Pumping is so hard! I just breastfed because I couldn't do both haha. I'm glad you found a method that works good for you! Your daughter is soooo stinking cute!
Wow your baby has grown so much. I remember when I used to pump too. Thank goodness that was over lol. You are really making a lot of milk and the processes, it's like a full time job. Well done mama
I agree it is a full time job. I’m bless that I have been able to produce this much milk. I’m slowly weaning because I have too much stored in my freeze but happy that she has enough for the year. 🥰🌻
To be honest I washed it with very hot water and lots of soap. But another option you can do is boil water, top the sink and then pour boil water into the sink and let it soak with soap.
You don’t want your milk to go bad so that’s why I was freezing my leftover milk. I was also pumping still. So I always made more milk. So the process I had just flowed until I didn’t need to pump no more.
What time of the day do you usually start making bottles for the next day because I also pump through the night so I never know if I should wait to make bottles until the next morning?
Sometimes before bed I would freeze the xtra milk and left at least 2 bottles for the next day. If I didn’t do it at night because I was being lazy I did it when I woke up next day.
The pitcher is amazing. Not only to store my breastmilk but you can also use it to make formula in advance. Checkout my links in my description box. These products are what I use everyday 😊😘
Good video!! Never heard of this and I’m a fourth time mom lol!!! I pumped exclusively for my first baby. I pumped/breastfed my second. And I only breastfed my third (stubborn child wouldn’t take a bottle at all) for the 4th baby that’s about to come I am definitely considering this method now!!! So useful to be able to properly mix the cold milk like that!
This is my second child and I just learned about this method from a Facebook group I’m in for exclusively pumping moms. In the beginning I had so many bottles in fridge... It was a hot mess. So this method helped me so much. Hope it helps you as well. Congratulations on baby 4 🥰❤️
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-50IoDCuhEYg.html I made this video & I talk about how to increase your milk supply. Checkout the time stamp so you can skip to the part of increasing your milk supply. 🥰
I think I’ve been doing this all wrong ! I’ve been pumping since the 25 ( I know the milk last 4 days in the fridge) I only do about 1 bottle a day bc he’s only a couple of days old .. but I’ve been pumping since that first day (25th) and mixing it into that same pitcher , right now it is full and I’m going about 3oz a day 1time a day so it’s lasted me a while … is it wrong to mix milk from different days ? is it all only supposed to be 1 whole day ? if so can I just freeze what I have pumped already before I have to throw it all away ?
I’ve mixed milk from the day before with day of plenty of times! If you feel like you aren’t going to use the milk in time then definitely start freezing so you don’t throw anything out 😊 I’ve been exclusively pumping and bottle feeding my baby and I’m only now coming across this method! Hope you don’t mind my input!
You can mix milk from different days. The key factor about mixing milk is mixing them at the same temperature. Personally I would mix day 1 and day 2 milk and then freeze what I wasn’t using so it wouldn’t go to waste. 🥰
I dont get the purpose? Its more stuff you have to wash. You dirty the pumping bottles, the pitcher and the feeding bottles. Just keep the milk in pumping bottles, combine if you need to and feed baby from it. SKIP the pitcher
Not necessarily. 1. My daughter only use the Medela bottles to drink out of 2. I have a specific bottle I pump into. So leaving milk in them doesn’t make sense. It’s easier to dump into the pitcher and go about my business. Also If I want to I can use only one bottle and just pour my daughter’s milk into her bottle as needed from the pitcher Lastly, when you are a over supplier like myself having all of those bottles you pumped from each session is way too many bottles. Especially in the beginning when you’re pumping eight times a day can you imagine that’s 16 bottles 🤪 The Pitcher Method isn’t for everyone. But if you would like research 🧐 why it even exist... Sincerely, An Exclusively Pumping Momma
@@beccabinspires its whatever works for you. I use the same bottles that i pump into to feed my baby; I don't have a designated bottle for it. As to over supplier, i pump and leave a freesh bottle for my baby to feed, anything extra i freeze withing 1 or 2 pomping session and freeze it right away to keep it fresh.
