GW1 will always have a special place in my heart. And also Dr Chester, with him I had my first highest kills in the lobby. It were exactly 14, and I remember it like it was yesterday.
Who would've thought that it's a problem for a support character to be able to teleport in someone face, instantly 2 tapping them without having any chance to fight back or do anything and being able to win a close range engagement against the character that's supposed to be terrifying at close range(chomper). Oh, the reason chompers are not so aggressive in gw1 is cuz gw2 forces the plants on the attack and the zombies on the defense(herbal assault kek and other modes), which forces chompers to aggressively burrow due to that being the only option available.
just keep your distance, dr. chester's VERY low range is VERY very exploitable, even in close encounters. Chester relies on surprise attacks to be successful, more so than every other scientist, Fail to remain unnoticed after warping and your opponent will have an easier time manouvering their hitbox out of your attacks and proceed to heavily pressure you in return, which by they way, the moment you start to run away, you'll lose all of your momentum and become the easiest most unthreatening target available. You'd better know how to use those stick bombs correctly if you ever find yourself in those situations, although the terrain will not usually favor you enough to guarantee your safety even if you manage to land them perfectly. Chompers you say? Again, all they have to do is spam goop or stall with spikeweeds until burrow comes out again, the chester won't be able to absolutely nothing except hope that the chomper attacks you earlier than it should. Due to all its problems, chester is used best with support with good teammates capable of creating opportunities for you to come in and help them in return. Without those opportunities, you are just better off using the chemist or marine biologist instead of simply adding free kills to the opposing team's counter on vanquish.
@@wertyxq3468 you realize that you can outdamage a chomper up close? Balanced as hell, if he goops you there's a delay between gooping and biting, enough for 3-4 shots, chomper is dead 95% of the time, spike weed in gw1 has a massive delay unlike in gw2. By whom is scientist exploitable??? He can outdamage a chomper at close kekw, sunflowers just cry and die, cacti again are completely helpless and and the only way a pea is surviving against you is when he reacts really fast with hyper. You are the only guy that has ever said EVER that you need to use sticky explody ball, any scientist who has half a brain and isn't heavily memeing is using the mega heal bomb.
GW2 literally still has all the "zombies on offense" modes though? Herbal Assault is the ONLY mode that is explicitly "plants play offense," every single other mode is either neutral or plant-defensive.
@@SnoFitzroy My guy, 95% of the time you and I play the game it's herbal assault, it has an abysmally high drop rate compared to the other modes.(+taco bandits)
Something I really like about GW1 is the overall atmosphere. Its a perfect balance between cartoony and gloomy. Specially the maps, they just feel more grounded than GW2. And the art style too, I know GW 1 and 2 styles are almost the same but it nust feels different in GW1. Unfortunately it always looses the balance in the 2nd game. Both in PvZ2 and GW2 they lean more into the cartoony side.
7:54 I have also experienced these longer loading times on next gen. For some reason GW1 and 2 load slower on my series X. But for some reason they'll load faster on my old Xbox 1. The garden warfare games are they only ones to do this for some reason. Every game I play, dead island remastered, borderlands,COD,the original pvz,AC4,etc don't have this problem of loading slower on next gen. GW1 and 2 are the only games that do this and I have no idea why really puzzling.
5:25 we can argue about which characters suck bum or which ones can have you dominate the server, but we cannot argue about GW1’s progression system. GW1’s progression system is where we all can hold hands, side to side, and collectively agree that it sucks
Hey fujj!! You mentioned how you were gonna upload different games and I wanted to know if you ever thought of playing splatoon it's a game I enjoy so hopefully you'll like it too great video as usual btw!!!! :)
I'd love gw1 content, its few and far between these days, balancing is a lot different too, you think armor chomper was bad? Wait till you see chomp thing in gw1.
