DR Congo President Felix Tshisekedi Accuses Predecessor Joseph Kabila of Planning Revolt | Firstpost Africa
The president of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Felix Tshisekedi has accused his predecessor Joseph Kabila of preparing an "insurrection" and of belonging to an armed rebel movement Alliance Fleuve Congo (AFC). It is a political-military coalition that seeks to overthrow the DR Congo government. It constitutes the M23 movement, that has waged an insurgency in the eastern DR Congo and has occupied significant areas since then. Joseph Kabila has kept a low profile after handing over power to Tshisekedi after 18 years of rule. And a crackdown on him is underway. Watch the report for more details.

For a Head of state to come out with such allegations in public, it demonstrates how much evidence he has gathered over the matter beyond reasonable doubt. We want peace in the DRC and not more rebellions..

Exposing the culprits who are destabilising congo and building a legal case against them or getting them punished by international community is far more effective then fighting them in the battlefield where they will continuously come back. @@user-zx5bd5cz9e Kabila was a servant of Kagame and M7. Congo suffered most under his reign,now the Kabilas are gone,Congo is gradually regaining back control of its resources. Days of looting by Kagame and M7 are coming to an end,down with Rwanda and Uganda.
