Timestamp? New versions are based on vaticanus and sinaiticus, pushed by the vatican, founded on the work of known spiritists Westcott & Hort, worked on by Jesuits like Carlo M Martini. They alter and omit many verses, compared to versions based on the traditional majority text which traces back to Antioch (see acts 11: 26). But if you want to use the modern (per)versions go right ahead. Just don't say you didn't know.

I find it interesting that Baptists claim to believe the Bible and yet they don't believe in keeping the Ten Commandments. Strange. God says "If you love me, keep my commandments" and in 1 John 2:3-4 " And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
@@EdwinDekker71 Jesus kept the Ten Commandments, He was our example. I want to follow in His footsteps and aspire to keep them, but all too often I fail miserably. As most Bible believing Christians, I am a work in progress. The important thing is what we genuinely want to do and God sees this and can help us if we pray and seek His help.
@@laura-loves-godAmen! Psalms 112 says we delight in God’s law. That’s the difference between seeing his holy law as a set of rules/restrictions or as God’s expression of his character, which is LOVE. Do we delight in his law should be the question.
