Denise added that vulnerable baby softness to the top of their harmonies. Songs like “Praying Spirit” really showcased this. I missed her in their sound when she left!

Her voice is beautiful what a blessing it would be to hear more of her she is so smooth she reminds me of Diana Ross . Just so soft and light just beautiful .
So what I've discovered is that Denise's soprano notes were just as strong as Karen's. Its clear that when Karen is doing lead, it was Denise that kept that soprano sound. But now that its just the 4 of them, when Karen is doing lead, its Dorinda that is carrying the soprano part... which shocked me because Dorinda never strikes me as a soprano.
@@DaTruEbonyRayne That is so true... Even tho her voice was pitched a bit higher that Karen’s, Denise could hold off that soprano part. As for after she left the group, Twinkie also takes the soprano part when Karen leads because she and Jacky are both usually singing tenor.
Denise added that airy texture and Jacky adds that cloudy mellow floating texture to the clark sisters sound and I miss the simple piercing soprano of hers
"Who can I turn to, Jesus! Who would have known that Jesus would be the only being that Denise would have to lean on. She was really ostracized to this day, and then depicted as the black i sheep, in move, when in fact she was the lightest pettiest and realest in the whole group!
Her voice is so beautiful she's one my favorites of the sisters along with Twinkie and dorinda. Her soprano is so amazing. She's the missing link in the clark sound their missing today.
God made no mistake in the outcome of who the Clark Sisters inspired and the lives they saved with and without Denise. I think they have an amazing sound with or without her. Karen is my favorite, but I'm always inspired by all of them equally!
