sorry to crush the conversation stimulated by this sedate Dre groove, but first plague was 1347 brought on by crusades..supposedly 1310's 1320's did however have weird climate change, colder rainier weather which also brought on disasters famine, farm animal diseases, which led to economic decline, and serious social issues not to mention a lot of really hungry people even among nobility 1300's really did have some rough times though which can inspire great music the 1200's earlier was good weather, good times, good money and eating
I can just imagine some cheesy late 90s hip hop film, where Dre and Snoop get sent back to a medieval court. They have to convince them they're African princes and the film culminates in a montage scene of Dre organising the whole of the court's orchestra to make a beat. The lord of the court, who's been receiving lessons on how to be ghetto, starts spontaneously breakdancing. They'll have to fight their antagonist at some point, so there's a scene where they arm themselves with crossbows and swords. Snoop constantly smokes blunts throughout the movie, with no explanation of where he's getting them from.

@@bowoods4571 A lot of the instrumentation has a Christmas feel. Doesn't have to have the modern Christmas melodies (jingle bells, Silent night, etc) for it to be Christmas music.
