Check out the song "Imagine" its by Snoop,Dr.Dre,and Angelo... Its off Snoop's "Tha Blue Carpet Treatment" I believe was the name of the album... The beat on that song is without a doubt one of thr most fire beats ever produced.
respect back when beats and lyrics song had to be unique to be good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now everybody sound the same trash trap beat and shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Dre goes in soo hard on this right here! Only reason they aint getting more hits is cuz Dr. Dre aint just watchign that short *on my channel* explaining how all these rappers out here be blowing up so big
Everyone calls themselve a rapper these day's, but nobody realizes that Dre is the one that made something out of the most populair rappers ever. Eminem and Snoopp are both famous thanks to Dre. Eminem even says that Dre 'safed his life'. So Dre's a hero too. The only true god of the rap.
Dre probably would've had him on the hook if he hadn't been ill. He was incapacitated from another stroke at this time and only had about 4 months to live when this came out. He hadn't recorded any music after 06ish
Jerry Az there is something about this song, it is on when I’m deadlifting, and I deadlift 6 x45 lbs each side with this song! You can call it my song!
@@tropical9913 agreed. Sounds fresh even in 2021 compared to all those electronic same wavelength type house, trap, dubstep etc. which all sound the same.
@@salvadormuniz2277 even though this beat wasn't produced by dre, it's a good choice though(idk if he produces every song of his, but this and I need a doctor weren't produced by dre)
@@satyas275 yes ofcourse... i am anxious how correctly u figure it out... i was also imagining the same but u give the legitiment answer... i hope u have a wider view regarding music..😊
@@roddywhite4161Compton ain't bad, I would say it's above average, but waiting 16 years for it? Yeah that's too much. The only way it wouldn't have been a disappointment was if it was the best hip hop album ever(like some people claimed Detox to be)
The energy comin from this vybz........I'm gonna feel It even years to come! This is "literal" murda on de dance floor!☝ These brotherz are hitting all the musical chords👑 ~ There's NO STOPPING......Bounce Back!!👊
I don't listen to Dre as much these days..but its pretty awesome to know that even while marijuana is mostly illegal...Dr. Dre has used it to become a multi-millionaire (or billionaire I should say), and STILL makes a song like this called "Kush" and all about it. Yet, we got Beats by Dre...pretty much the biggest headset sellers ever, and EVERY electronic store sells it. Just proves smoking a flower isn't as bad as some misconceived righteous morons lead you to believe. A flower should not be illegal (unless you add chemicals to it). The green I smoke never has chemicals (just be careful who your source is).
Logic fallacy. People bought his headphones because of marketing, not because people think marijuana is not that big a deal. This song has nothing to do with his headphones. He also hit a woman. By your logic, hitting a woman must not be so bad either.
No no no... Dre used rap to become a millionare then invested that money to become a billionaire... havent you ever heard him say "i don't smoke weed or sess" in his NWA songs?
***** here u go come get some QuebecGold ill share it with ya we got plenty where i live its a flower after all natural way of staying high peace out to all street soldiers !!! LOVE SEE NO COLORS NO ORIENTATION NO RELIGION
I always loved Dr Dre’s style in clothing, He has this timeless style, he’s not boring nor flamboyant, he has this perfect balance. In ten years, current rappers will look goofy af.
It's a shame Jimmy ivone and the public put so much pressure on dre back then with detox Heck I heard he didn't like that version this was on It's a shame this album never came out
@@mattkwiecien416 perhaps he meant back in the day from his perspective. You shouldn't dismiss his observation since your perspective is different. Just ssying
I remember being a 6-year-old watching Lil Waynes, Eminem, dres, and snoops music videos on my dad's computer when he was at work, i was so amused with the graphics and music. glad I wasn't born in the Yeat or ice spice generation.
@@gt9256 you should know that both Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg came out in the 1990s, not the early 2000s or the early 2010s. So, no, I don't think people were as salty about this song as people are about the trap rappers who are currently (and unfortunately) dominating the hip-hop industry. I think that people (at the time this song came out) were glad that this song brought back a return to form for the genre (at least for this one and only time) and they were also glad that this song brought Dr. Dre back out from whatever cupboard he was hiding in.
Dr Dre go in sooo hard on this right here, straight up BANGER! He aint like all them oppas who just be usin that AUTHENTICVIEWS jawnt to glow up like SLim Jesus dun did !!
Al Forster cap asf u don’t kno the past of these two 50cent made a couple of good ass songs these two made 2 of the BEST albums of all time ✅ Dre a goat 👏😂
@Al Forster haha yeah keep telling yourself that. Just because they have been shot doesn't mean shit other than they are idiots. Dre and Snoop are OGs. 99.9% of people know this.
Why's anyone not saying anything about Nate's hook. That guy was the hottest when it came to dropping mad hooks for rap tracks like this. RIP Nate Dogg
Because that is something that goes without saying Akon is dope but if Nate Dogg was alive, he would’ve been on that track, and you know it !!! I agree with you though 💯
Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre are blood brothers in another planet. They just don't know yet... Their synergy is out of this world... Aliaune Badara Thiam, you killed the hook. 2024, im still in love with this masterpiece
The fuck is this??? This shit is over 3 years old & im just now hearing it. I don't listen to radio, hell i don't even watch anything related to music on tv, but how come i never heard not even 1 person mention this track??? R.I.P Nate Dog, He was that extra Spice on Dres tracks.
Nick Ramey Music, just like anything else, is relative to the individual's experiences, expose, appreciations, likes, loves, and everything else equal and opposite you can fathom: One person is not going to feel the same way about a song, verse, line, riff, chords, beats, 808 kick, how tight or loose a snare was tuned, how hard or soft it hit, gated delay, echo, reverb, etc. as the next person. I know you know this. I can appreciate the gentlemen's option of it being the best line whereas you feel different which is equality respected based on YOUR experiences. I remember when my son and daughter where 2 and 3 years old, we were watching Shrek (yes, I'm old!). When princess Fiona sung the falsetto with the little birdie and the birdie exploded from the high note, my 3 year old daughter thought it was the funniest thing in the world, but my 2 year old son cried.😊 It's all relative(to the individual).
I don't know if this makes sense but this is like a marvel movie of hip hop. Huge production budget, hiring the best of the best Dre beats, akon vocals, snoop flow, and crazy special effects. It's a masterpiece
