I dunno why, but everytime this video pops up in my recommendations I gotta watch it. The employee fully stocked the st. Ides in 2 seconds. Dre turns a bag of pork rinds into a pistol. A cop shoots at snoop multiple times from close range and misses every shot. Dre suddenly has some kind of big ass gun from the future. 😂 Gets me everytime.
@@user-kq6qr6uy4e never seen this type of gun either, thought he pulled it out of his COD Contraband stash along with that magic gun from inside the bag o chips
Don't disrespect sonic go check Dre's first song actual song music video eazy e wasn't lying on real mf G's stay in your place and don't step to real mf G's
I was born in 98' and still knew about the joke. What's your excuse?

KBGKID321 Lmao "What's your excuse?" I'm from France, so in my country (in the 90's) "deez nuts" wasn't a joke, and when the song came out, I wasn't bilingual
Dr. Dre: what you wanna do? Snoop Dogg: what you wanna do? Dr. Dre: I'm gonna magically pull out a gun outta nowhere shoot at these dudes and then keep shooting at them this futuristic ass next level gun from from Cyberpunk 2077.
Watching Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg in a shootout 30 years later is a fine example of how senseless violence & crime cut short the lives of a lot of Talented black men in the 80s & 90s , and still to this day
Exactly and we went with it…this right here was the genesis of that gangsta rap and ever since then it’s been this crap pretty much. The rappers have changed and they make less sense but it’s the same thing like this…violence, bitches, weed and alcohol.
@@AwakenUniverse Dr Dre was actually one of the prime exponents of gangsta rap in the early 90's, even though he never actually lived that life. He has always been a master at publicity and selling an image, as well as being musically talented. He sold the west coast gangsta image in The Chronic and Doggystyle era. By '96 when he left Death Row, he'd realised that he'd helped create a monster. The cat was already out of the bag though.
I just thought about it, the woman that was working at the store, she from the "Nuthin' But A G Thang" video, the scene where they pour all the 40 oz on her is what she talking about.
I replayed this probably 10 times trying to figure out how Dre was able to draw the gun that fast. And it’s just impossible for him to have drawn it from somewhere, it had to of already been in his hand behind the chips/popcorn bag he has in his hand
Wow! I didn't see this one coming! For a moment, I thought this was a prelude to another music video, even better, sort of what Dre and NWA used to do, and that's blow shit up into smithereens.😁
This was entertaining, look like some shit that can only happen in a dream, where the fuck did Dre get that big ass gun from? And why did it like like all the robbers seem to just jump in front of the bullets on purpose😂
How is it that I turn 40 in two weeks and been listening to Dre since The Chronic and never saw this until now? And where did Dre pull that Calico out of? Haha 😂
This was Dre and Snoop’s intro video from The Chronic tour (obviously the intro for Up In Smoke is a reference to the original). Most people probably haven’t seen it since the tour was cancelled after only a few shows. At the time, there was a strong conservative backlash against gangsta rap as Dre took it mainstream and Snoop’s murder trial was just beginning, so venues were pressured to cancel dates.
I'm with you. It goes from a shitty robbery setup scene, to a St. Ides commercial, to a dream sequence Tarantino shootout. I'm still wondering where this was shown exactly.
@@ThePsychoticCircusofSavannah you’re correct, probably. Idk. I don’t remember what I wrote and do not care to look so I don’t know why I’m responding other than to agree or disagree. Either way, thank you for your reply 🥷🏼.
MaxPain95 nigga he did not grab the chips with a gun in hand so why would the gun be behind the chips... yeah i know its "video" but you tryna be a smartass, sit your ass down.
iLove$trugglin Your mother is ashamed of you and this is why, you fucktard. I IN NO WAY, said he grabbed the fucking gun with the chips in his hand. USE COMPREHENSION TO KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS SAYING YOU DUMB ASS NIGGA.
It looks like it was produced around the same time as The Chronic (1992). Death Row seemed to be experimenting with some (very bad) short films at the time (e.g. Murder Was The Case). I think the woman in black is the same one who gets soaked with beer at the end of the video for 'Nuthin' But A G Thang' (hence the 'Pour it on me again' line) and Dre and Snoop exchange lines from 'Deep Cover' ('What choo wanna do?' 'What choo wanna do?'). I think it was best this didn't get released though!
